12.01am That's all from our coverage tonight. Thanks for joining us. We'll see you tomorrow for Sunrisers Hyderabad v Kolkata Knight Riders.
Washington Sundar: It's very heartening for me to do well against such a big team on such a big stage in front of a packed crowd. This is for my parents, their prayers are the reason I did this. Keeping it simple works for me. Right now I'm not really open to being experimental. I just go out there and I back myself to play to my strengths. I think we can go to the final and get the trophy.
Washington Sundar is the Man of the Match. The youngest Man of the Match in the IPL.
Steven Smith: It's been good this year, three times we've beaten them now. It was a big game. We had to be a little convservative today and we timed it well to get 160. We got the momentum we needed. You really need to peak at the right time in tournaments like this. We executed our plans really well. We tried to take the pace of the ball; it worked nicely for us throughout the tournament and today as well. There was a bit of dew, but it was still gripping. We executed really well to restrict them. Washington's lengths were magnificent and it was great he did it on a big stage like this. He has done a lot for us, very proud of him. It's a really exciting time for us.
Rohit Sharma: I think 160 was below par to be honest, having seen the scores chased here. Probably the worst batting performance of this season for us. We didn't have enough partnerships, it's crucial to get small partnerships in. They bowled well to restrict us and to take wickets in the middle overs. Shot selection is very important. you need to understand the situation and the conditions and respect them. You've to pick the gaps and take it to the end and we didn't do that. It's not the end of the world, we still have one more shot in Bangalore.
tarun: "Those last two expensive overs by Bumrah and McClenaghan which went for 41 proved to be the vital runs."
Gaurav: "RPS may not have glamorous star studded team like MI or KKR even so after the departure of Stokes and Tahir but it seems everyone is pushing really hard and following team plans with dedication. They are deserving winners irrespective of what happens in the finals."
Siva: "Pune was on blink of a elimination on Sunday before the match against KXIP, with just 2 wins they are in finals. They performed superbly in the matches that matter more."
11.41pm Rising Pune not at all bothered by the drop. They are the first finalists in IPL 2017. And they've beaten Mumbai at Wankhede. Again. What is it about them that they can win and win and win, and still surprise us when they win again? No one expected it at the halfway stage, and yet here it is. Rahane got a fifty when a depleted batting line up needed it. Tiwary came good as well, alongside Dhoni who was responsible for the shift in momentum. But young Washington Sundar takes the cake today- 3 for 16 with the wickets of Rohit, Rayudu and Pollard. The nucleus of Mumbai's batting really. Rising Pune never let Mumbai get back.
