Thanks so much for joining us. Look forward to your company for LSG v Titans that has already begun in Lucknow. For now, this is Shashank Kishore signing off on behalf of Ashish Pant, Thilak Gowda and the rest of our crew.

Time for the presentations

Romario Shepherd is the PoM for 39 off 10 balls along with the wicket of David Warner. "Yeah, it made me proud, my hard work has paid off. Hardik told me to express myself on his way out. In these situations, got to just keep eyes on the ball. Don't need to be tentative. Keep a clear mind."

Hardik Pandya: "I would like to have this feeling [of being winning captain[] more often than not. Lot of hard work, hard to clear our minds, and everything clicked. We will be making some tactical changes here and there but more often than not this will be our XII. Settling of the team is important. There was a lot of love and care going around, everyone knows we lost three games but the belief and backing was there, everyone believes we needed just one win and today was the start. I mean amazing, to start with 77 after six is always wonderful. The way everyone was batting, we needed rhythm to bat, the way everyone is chipping in with the opportunity coming in was fantastic. That was some hitting from Romario, he won us the game. The difference was his innings. I like him, he always has a smile of his face, doesn't run away, very proud of the way he played, proud of the team. All good, will be bowling at the right time. Had it covered, so didn't need to roll my arm over."

Ishan Kishan: "We played to potential, this is what we're known for. Kept the process going, we were in a good headspace and got the result we were looking for. Played enough games here, not easy after six overs, more of a rotation game after that, so power play was important for both of us to take the bowlers on and we executed in a very good way. Romario has been working very hard, wasn't playing but was giving his 100% at the net sessions. That was the kind of over we were looking forward to. We know he's very powerful and it changed the game. I'm feeling very good, lot of meetings going on, talking to the coaches, we knew we had to bowl well."

Hardik Pandya & co doing a lap of honor around the ground to thank the 18,000 kids who turned up to watch them play as part of Reliance's CSR initiatives. All the members of the squad are right there - Hardik., Tendulkar, even the owners.

7.20pm Mumbai Indians were challenged briefly, but the carnage at the end of their batting innings by Romario Shepherd proving to be the difference. Capitals conceded 92 off the last four overs. They'd look back at that as a massive turning point and a momentum changer in the match.

Rishabh Pant: "I feel we didn't have enough runs in the Powerplay. Yes, tried to change it afterwards but when pressure mounts on you with asking rate crossing 15-16, it's very difficult. One over here and there can change the momentum, either we can look to play the blame game or look to improve on that. The wicket was good to bat on, slower ones were sticking on the wicket. Will look to improve power play [batting] and death bowling."

Coetzee to Richardson, OUT, the short ball has done the trick for Coetzee yet again this over. Short, angling away, beats Richardson for pace as he looks to pull in front of square, slices it straight to Rohit at point. Mumbai Indians are off the mark in IPL 2024.

Coetzee to Kushagra, OUT, sliced over the infield to point, as easy as catches come for Tilak. Kushagra was looking to go down the ground but the ball got away from his arc.

Coetzee to Lalit Yadav, OUT, excellent catch from Ishan Kishan! Swirler as Lalit Yadav looks to fetch this slog from outside off only to get the top edge, Kishan called for it, ran towards where backward square leg would be and picked it nicely.

Lalit Yadav c †Ishan Kishan b Coetzee 3 (4m 4b 0x4 0x6) SR: 75.00

Strange decision to take two off the first ball. Sure they may have not had a chance to win, but anything to help the net run rate.
