Commentator: Suneer Chowdhary

That is it from me, hope you had a good time following this game despite the long wait due to rain. I will be back tomorrow with the two games, when Mumbai take on Pune and Punjab play Rajasthan.

Presentation Ceremony:

Sehwag: Boys did very well, bowlers bowled brilliantly after we won the toss. Fielded very well. Finch outscored me, played very well.

Gambhir: The way Morne bowled, he bowled some quality stuff. The total we had was a quality total in the end, but they batted well. Pathan was excellent with his batting.

Irfan Pathan edges out Morne Morkel to walk away with the man of the match award.

Pathan: I wasn't looking forward to hitting Yusuf for the boundary. The pace of the ball helped me time my shots.

That is an excellent knock from Pathan, unbeaten 42 from only 20 balls. When he walked out at three, it was a bit of a surprise - to me at least - but he has done more than what was expected out him, continuing the good work done by Morne Morkel with the ball.

Pathan himself admits that he was expecting to bat seven. He also says that they wanted to target one bowler towards the end, and it turned out to be Marchant de Lange. And to add to it, he is candid enough to say that he did not like hitting his brother Yusuf for a four in that penultimate over!
