3.4 Samson and Sen almost collide, but the latter holds on! Hard length, just outside leg. Follows Taide as he tries to back away. He then has a hack across the line but the lack of room means that the ball goes straight up off the top edge. Samson calls but Sen at short third man, does not seem to pay heed. In the end, the ball nestles into Sen's palms. Avesh, well, he was not best pleased. RR, remember, did something similar last year, when three fielders went for the same ball, only for none of them to catch it and for the ball to pop into Boult's hands eventually! 27/1
7.6 oh dear, what has happened there!?! Floated up on a length outside off and this seems to stick in the surface. Bairstow, trying to go inside out, is way too early into the stroke. The ball seems to bounce a tad extra too and hits Bairstow pretty high on the bat. Loops up to extra cover, and Hetmyer makes no mistake. Bairstow's painstaking knock comes to an end. Maiden IPL wicket for Maharaj, and he is thrilled to bits. Not sure the Punjab Kings are, at this stage! 47/3
6.3 Prabhsimran holes out! Dangles the carrot on a length on middle and off, and Prabhsimran bites. Steps down the track, trying to smash it into next week. He is hitting into the wind, though, and does not get it right out of the middle too. Spoons up off the inside half of the bat and Jurel does the rest at deep mid wicket. Wicket no.198 in the IPL for Yuzvendra Chahal! 41/2
9.3 Captain Curran perishes too! Drops this shorter on off, and this seems to skid on a touch quicker than Curran expects. Tries to pull it away but gets it right off the bottom part of the bat. Arrows it straight to Jurel at deep mid wicket, and the Punjab Kings slip further into trouble! 52/4
16.1 soft dismissal! Punjab Kings take a step back after a step forward, again! Hard length outside off. With mid off up, Jitesh thinks he can muscle it over the fielder. The ball, though, gets big on him and he cloths it completely. An easy catch for Parag at mid off, and Avesh is elated. Finishes his celebratory jump right beside Jitesh, who is disappointed at having been dismissed in this fashion! 103/6
12.1 Sen breaks through! Banged into the track on off. Sen gets some extra bounce and this gets big on Shashank. He cannot control his pull and miscues it. Spoons up off the higher part of the bat, almost off the sticker, towards deep mid wicket. Jurel makes up ground to his left and completes the catch with minimal fuss. Just when PBKS' innings was threatening to click into gear, they suffer a setback! 70/5
17.5 full on leg stump. Ashutosh tugs it towards deep mid wicket. Livingstone wanted the second but Ashutosh was not as interested. Livingstone has to rush back, and could be in trouble here...In fact, he is indeed an inch short. The throw was not over the stumps but Samson did well to collect it to his left and then flick the ball onto the stumps. Livingstone did seem to take the longer route back to his crease. Either way, this is just what PBKS did not need! 122/7
19.6 taken at backward point, and Ashutosh's cameo comes to an end! Sharp bumper on leg stump that climbs onto Ashutosh and rushes him for pace. He tries to hack it away but the ball is onto him before he can really start his swing. Clinks off the splice and Maharaj dives forward to complete the catch! 147/8

11.4 Rabada gets rid of Jaiswal! Short, wide and this is there to be hit. Jaiswal throws the kitchen sink at it but it perhaps comes off the toe-end. Arrows towards Harshal at third man, and that is just the breakthrough the Kings would have wanted at this stage! 82/2
8.2 cleans him up! Fizzed through full on leg stump. Kotian comes down the track, aiming for the moon. Does not account for the spin and seems to play down the wrong line too. Swishes at thin air and hears the death rattle soon after! A 31-ball 24 is perhaps not what RR would have wanted from Kotian, but he has ensured RR have a good base to operate from! 56/1
13.2 big appeal, and given! Rabada has another, and this is a massive moment in the game! Hard length on off, and this cuts back in. Keeps low too and goes under Samson's attempted pull. Gets pinned on the back leg, and umpire Anil Chaudhary raises his finger. Samson has a quick chat with his partner and then reviews. This could be more in hope than expectation. And that is vindicated. Ball Tracking reckons the ball would have smashed into middle and leg, and Samson has to go. Takes a review along with him too! 89/3
16.4 gets the height, but not enough distance! Another twist in this tale! Dug in short on off. Parag thinks he can smash this into the stands but the ball does not arrive as quickly as he expects. Miscues it and the ball goes miles up towards deep mid wicket. Rabada settles under it and snares the chance! 113/4
17.2 another miscue, and another catch in the deep! Sensational catch by Shashank! Hard length on middle and leg. Skids onto Jurel and rushes him on the pull. Does not middle it at all and he cloths it towards deep mid wicket. Shashank tears in from the fence, slides forward and gobbles up the chance! RR's chase is flagging! 115/5

18.3 edged and taken! Powell perishes! Banged in short outside off. Powell, rather than trying to hit it for six, tries to help it. Cannot get on top of it, though, and all he does is feather it through to Jitesh. Has he done his job, though? Either way, this was a cameo RR really needed! 136/6
18.6 straight to long on! PBKS keep chipping away! Slower ball bowled right into the slot outside off. Maharaj gets his front foot out of the way and slugs at it. The bat turns upon impact, though, and he chunks it off the inside half of the bat towards long on. Livingstone makes no mistake this time, and RR need ten off the final over! 138/7
