This is Northamptonshire's first trophy since 1992. Everyone will be absolutely delighted for them, a small club with no money, they have turned themselves around with sheer bloody hard work and have won the Friends Life t20. Champagne all around and I might just raise a glass to them myself. Thanks for your company today, see you soon...
What an end, what a story and Northants have won by 102 runs what a hammering that is and is a fitting result for Northamptonshire who have stormed this competition from absolutely nowhere. Three wins from 27 T20 matches coming into this season, they found a formula and carried it through all the way to tonight. The final was absolutely brilliant. A fabulous brutal display with the bat and followed it up in some style with a hat-trick by David Willey to close out the win. He'll be the Man of the Match for 60 from 27 balls and 4 for 9, including that hat-trick.

Gary Wilson had developed a cult following having fielded in front of the Hollies Stand for much of the day, now he's out, the fans are off!

After a year described as "embarrassing" by their captain, Alex Wakely, the Northamptonshire team came together at the end of 2012 and decided things must change
