9.40pm: Holy moly, what a stonking end to a doozy of a final! In front of a home crowd, Warwickshire have toasted their rebrand as Birmingham Bears by winning the T20 tournament for the first time. Woakes held his nerve at the end, facing the ghost of Freddie Flintoff past, who couldn't quite drag Lancashire over the line despite a couple of moments of magic. There was drama throughout, thankfully the rain stayed away for the final. Birmingham, having sneaked through the group stage as the final qualifier of eight, can enjoy themselves now, becoming only the second team to win Finals Day at their own ground. Anyway, it's been an excitement-packed day, so frantic at the end that they are still preparing for the presentation. We'll have a report and reaction on the site soon, thanks for your comments, Alex and I will be back for the start of the ODI series on Monday. Cheerio!

1
Woakes to Parry, 1 run, length ball, outside off, driven on the up through long-off, that'll do for Birmingham, who win by four runs and claim their maiden T20 title

Six to win, Stephen, no pressure... "I am sitting 30 inch away from the 40 inch screen.. go Freddie you champ!!" squeals Sachin (not that one)

2
Woakes to Parry, 2 runs, fullish wide of the stumps, chopped away through point off the back foot, a single is useless so they come back for the second

Two balls, eight to win, Parry has to do it himself

1
Woakes to Flintoff, 1 run, another perfect yorker from Woakes, Flintoff bunts it down the ground - this time they won't get back for two, Parry is on strike for the penultimate delivery

Nine off three, they need a boundary...

2
Woakes to Flintoff, 2 runs, goes right back in the crease, clubs a full ball through midwicket, comfortable second run there

"Burnley Lara to hit the winning runs?" Robert, not satisfied with this as it is, wants one more twist

2
Woakes to Flintoff, 2 runs, fullish, scooped down the ground and long-off slips while fielding, they get back for two

Can a man win a game on reputation alone? We're about to find out

Woakes to Parry, 1 bye, goes full, gets the yorker in, slightly wide of off stump and Parry swings and misses, Flintoff comes charging down the pitch regardless, dives headlong to make his ground and take the strike

Woakes to bowl the final over - think they're okay on the rate - Parry on strike, 14 required. Lummy!
