That brings an end to our coverage of the first of two games today. Do tune in at 3.30pm GMT for the next game - Chennai Super Kings v Central Districts. On behalf of Cricinfo, this is Nitin Sundar signing off following Warriors' fine win. Cheers!

Davey Jacobs: "Nice to get off to a winning start. Rusty did well, I thought Wayamba did well to reach that total after losing two early wickets, but we had the bowlers to manage to restrict them in the end."

Mubarak: "No regrets about batting first. We were looking at 170-180 and if we had got there, we could have put a fight. Losing two wickets in the first over was a setback.. hope to come back in the next game. The last five overs were critical, especially the last three - we got only 15 runs or so, not good enough at this level."

Man of the Match - Rusty Theron: "Getting early wickets puts you in a good position. I just try and be as 'cheap' as I can and it came off today. Playing against a Sri Lankan side up front - my experience in Sri Lanka did help, they play a little differently. There was a little movement today, spinners also played an important role."

Ian Bishop is doing the honours at the presentations today.

Sid Monga's bulletin is getting updated as we speak, so you can relive the thrills and spills of the game as we wait for the presentation.

Boucher: "We pulled it back in the last 5-6 overs of Wayamba's innings.. We were wary of the Mendis and Herath factor in the late overs, so set us up to deal with that.. Once you hit one or two in the middle, things start going well." I repeat - Whadaplaya!

So, the two home sides have started their CLT20 campaigns in style. Warriors follow suit after Lions' win against Mumbai today. Wayamba had their moments, but were outclassed in the crunch moments of both innings and in the end, that made all the difference.

Welegedara to Kreusch, FOUR, Kreusch completes the cruise! That shot symbolises the way Warriors have gone about the chase - innovative and enterprising. Kreusch walks out to the off side and paddles it from wide outside off, to the right of a dismayed short fine-leg fielder for four. Game, Warriors!
