11.05 pm T&T have finally won a game. They came so close to winning their first two, but have finally got over the line today. They could have had three out of three wins, instead they have one. Chennai's chances have taken a massive hit with this defeat. Their fate is now out of their hands. So is T&T's.

Prashanth: "I don't know what Dhoni thinks but Morkel is far more accomplished to deal with spinners than Saha. Morkel should have come earlier. He could have played Franklin's role for Chennai."

Daren Ganga: Always good to get a win. Touch luck to Chennai. I'm sure people back home will be pleased. We have one important game against Cape Cobras. We have to win and win big. That is all we can do.

Dhoni: I was looking to chase 110 odd runs. Those extra 10 runs [that Cooper got] really helped them. It became really difficult to rotate strike. They bowled in good areas. We need to beat the next time, we're playing the last game so if everything goes our way we'll know what we need to do.

The Man of the Match is Sunil Narine for his spell of 4-0-8-3. He bowled two overs during the fielding restrictions as well. A terrific effort, worthy of the reward. A thought for Kevin Cooper though, who blitzed 28 off 10 balls out of no where. He also took 1 for 15 off four overs.

Ahmed: "@George... Tell us something about your prediction ahead of the game which you made." Hah, I was hoping no one would spot that. I said Chennai would win, and perhaps easily. Could I have been more wrong?
