That is it from us for today. Join us for the double-header tomorrow. Till then, this is Abhishek Purohit signing off, along with Sanjay Murari. Cheers
Gayle is the Man of the Match. Gayle: "It was a key game for us. It wasn't the best of starts, it was a bit difficult to bat on initially. In the end, I got close to 20 overs which was good for me. No one got a fifty in the first two games. We had a discussion. So whosoever got in this game, try to play a bit longer. Hopefully we can win the next one with a big margin as well."
Thomas: "We could have done with an offspinner, but taking nothing away from Chris, he paced his innings nicely, he had a look at the wicket for the first two overs. We (Somerset) like making things difficult for ourselves."
Vettori: "It's what we needed to do, we needed a big one to give ourselves a chance. Gayle showed what a good player he is during the IPL, and again today. We were still battling however with the way Somerset started. I think so (bowling was satisfactory). 185 was a par score and we went above that."
Somerset were up against it after that Gayle innings. Trego kept them in the chase till the half-way stage, but to keep it up for another ten overs in the chase was always going to be tough. And apart from the one over from Gayle, RCB finally managed to get the bowling part together today. They are finally on the board in this tournament, and the margin of the win has made their net run-rate jump and Somerset's dive sharply. RCB have even gone past KKR on run-rate
