Warner-led NSW crush CSK en route to semi-final

David Warner shook the Chepauk pitch out of its death-like slumber through a mix of clean straight hitting, including a six out of the stadium, and audacious switch-hits, one of them a pull for a six over extra cover

Scorer: Sanjay Murari | Commentator: Abhishek Purohit

That is all from us from this game. This is Abhishek Purohit signing off, along with our scorers Gopi Rangarajan and Sanjay Murari. Join us for the Group B semi-final deciders tomorrow. Cheers

Teja: "Before signing off, please confirm if did Sid Monga disappeared in celebration or in agony. We are worried!!" He just disappeared, seemed pretty serene while doing the vanishing act.

Warner is the Man of the Match. Warner: "Definitely [my best in this format]. Tonight was my night, I have been practising the switch hit a long time now in the nets, I played it once in Sri Lanka in the T20s. It paid off today. I have learned a lot in the last few years, that has come through playing more four day cricket back home."

Katich: "The way Warner batted was outstanding, he constructed his innings superbly. Cummins did well for us, he was magnificent for us last year, he deserves a chance to go to South Africa with the Australia team."

Dhoni: "That is very important to get the big hitters out of the game, you dont want them to bat 15 overs, you want to get them in the Powerplay. Getting 200 became a difficult task. That's the only blessing in disguise, a few days off, not that we have earned it, but a bit of rest will help us."

Sid Monga has disappeared, but his match report is up and ready for you to read about Warner's innings

Karthik sums up the glum mood of the CSK fans: "If Dhoni stock was traded on the exchange, can I short a thousand of them please?" In fact, you could go long, the only way seems to be up now, it seems to have bottomed out

Shank: "Warner scored 135, Warner fielded so many boundaries, took so many catches, contributed to run outs... he is the "God of this Match."

NSW and Mumbai Indians make the semi-finals from Group A. The reigning champions CSK finish bottom of the group, the only side in the tournament with three losses
