Commentator: Suneer Chowdhary
Presentation:
Jehan Mubarak: This tournament has been a case of what ifs, made crucial mistakes. When we batted the first four overs, it seemed difficult, we thought 130 was a decent target, bowlers bowled but there were too many mistakes from us.
Thilina Kandamby: Obviously slightly nervous but knew that Malik would do the job, pitch behaved differently from what I thought, it was not a batting wicket as I thought. We knew 124 was not going to be easy, Munaweera gave a good start but needed to bat through as well.
Sachithra Senanayake is the MoM: I did not think too much before I went out to bat, slightly nervous before I went in, after that it was good.
That is it from me, Suneer Chowdhary, will be back tomorrow for both the games! Till then, have a good evening ahead.
At 0/2 in four overs, the Rudras looked done and dusted, before Janaka Gunaratne's 30 helped them through to 124, not too much but an improved score. Uva were always in touching distance but with 24 needed from three overs, the pulse rates were racing. Shoaib Malik batted well to get them off that spot of bother. Presentation in a while.
