2.33pm And with that, Carlson wanders off to lift the trophy with his team, and here ends the Metro Bank One-Day Cup final. An unconventional two days at Trent Bridge, but a worthy winner emerges from an engrossing contest. From Miller and Alan, thanks for tuning in, see you [checks notes] at Durham tomorrow, for the third ODI!
Time for the presentations. The MBODC Player of the Year goes to Warwickshire's Ed Barnard, for the second season running.
The Player of the Match is Sam Northeast: "It does feel amazing to get the game on, didn't think we would. Tight in the end but great to get over the line. Had to get a score, did a little early on, then got a few away. Some momentum into the back end then the boys did brilliantly. Been a fantastic club to move to, a bit of experience probably helped, enjoyable day."
Sean Dickson: "Hats off to these guys, we gave it our all but it wasn't meant to be. Credit to Glamorgan. We started well, Ogborne is a good talent, but with the wet conditions we were slipping and sliding. That's the medicine we have to take. A couple of wickets changed the momentum of the game."
Kiran Carlson: "Obviously great, it's what we set out to do, massive credit to Trent Bridge groundstaff for letting us get a game in. It's a tough old season for fans, a lot of ups and down, glad we've got something to cheer. Dan's showed his skills at the death, Somerset gave it a great crack, glad to close it out and now the celebrations can start."
2.20pm The circumstances haven't dented Glamorgan's joy, however. Gleeful scenes on the outfield. But a penny for Somerset's thoughts. Dreams of a treble after their stirring win over Surrey in the Championship earlier this month, and now they've been stuffed in both one-day finals, with only a dead-rubber against Hampshire to come.
Dan Douthwaite: "Thankfully I nailed my first ball, got the slower ball in, Timmy caught it... thankfully we got the job done. Sam... I'll forgive him for running me out... but he stood up today when we were struggling, Timmy gave us momentum. Until today my fondest memory was 2021, I was passionate about going one better in the final again."
Joshua: "Exactly the same as 2010 for Somerset. Runners-up in all three competitions!"
Smiffy: "So pleased for everyone who went to the ground, sympathies to Somerset and congrats to Glamorgan!"
2.17pm Incredible scenes, in the literal sense. No-one gave this day a prayer when looking at the forecast, but the rain has just about held off, and some sensible match management has ensured that this showcase has reached a finale of sorts... even if the bleak weather and virtually empty stands rather confirm the extent to which this poor competition has been shoved to the margins.
In fact, it is properly wet now... we've got there in the nick of time!
Gerry: "Somerset gave 9 wides away. Nine runs, plus nine extra balls. Made the difference."
It looks to be raining pretty heavily now, but no danger that they'll be going off the field with four balls left

Right, we are into the end-game. Green's levers, with a short leg-side boundary to aim for. And probably three sixes needed

Andy: "Any idea of DLS score?" Not applicable, we play to a finish. 20 overs constitutes a match
Dezz: "Surely the umps will just keep them on now it's this close?!" Surely! Though, ironically, a shared title finally seems appropriate!
