- BATSMENRB4s6sSR23 good length ball on off, tapped into the covers and turned back by a direct hit at the striker's end. Looked very innocuous at first due to Ishaq's extremely casual effort coming back to his crease. But third umpire replay shows he pays the price for such a lax effort. He could easily have grounded his bat across the line but failed to stretch his arm out with the bat and Salzmann's throw shows no mercy. 85/23.3 winds up again... but can't clear mid-on! Nangeyalia spliced his attempt to heave this over the leg side and it looped just over the head of Australia's captain, Cooper Connolly, but he is light on his toes to take it cleanly on the turn. Salz exults, he's made the early breakthrough 15/14 bowled 'im! Big gap from Noor coming across on off stump, and Salzmann brings this back to hit the target! Perfect length, the batter stuck on the crease, and he really didn't do a good job of covering the line. Two in four balls, Australia making their mark in the powerplay 15/223.2 Safi looks like he's been done dirty by the umpire! This one is flighted wider on fourth stump, Safi goes for a big sweep thinking he's safe with the ball pitching outside the line and straightening. He misses and looks like he's been struck outside the line of off but the umpire things otherwise and triggers him back to the pavilion. 85/428.1 another chaotic runout! This was more straightforward than the previous calamities. Full on fourth stump, they try to tap and run taking on Wyllie pouncing on the ball in the covers who unleashes a quick snap throw from 15 yards to the keeper and it was such a poorly judged run that even without a direct hit, Wali is a foot short. 95/549 slugged down the ground, but taken! Not got the connection this time and Connolly holds it coming in from long-on, despite seeming to cramp up slightly and ending up on his back. Fine effort from Ijaz Ahmadzai, he's given his side something to bowl at 201/936 looking for the boundary to finish the over, but holes out to long-off! Radhakrishnan joins the dots and weaves a web around Ahmad, whose loft down the ground picks out the man on the rope. Never had enough on it, comfortably taken by Higgins, and Australia's grip tightens 126/644 bowled him! Big heave across the line from Ahmad, the ball spins to hit the top of middle! Radhakrishnan slows it up and does the business with his final ball, finishing with excellent figures of 3 for 31. Neither Noor today, as the dangerous Ahmad fails to launch 168/747.4 dragged down, but miscued straight up! Well held by long-on running in, and Izharulhaq troops straight off. Go big or go home, and it's the latter for Afghanistan's No. 9. Connolly gets a wicket, Australia keeping the lid on things at the death 189/849.2 all over, Connolly knocks back the off peg! Angles in a left-arm dart and Faisal misses completely trying to dump it over the leg side. Afghanistan finally bowled out with four balls to spare 201/10Extras14 (nb 2, w 12)TOTAL201 all out (49.2 Overs, RR: 4.07)Fall of wickets: 1-15 (Nangeyalia Kharote, 3.3 ov), 2-15 (Allah Noor, 3.6 ov), 3-85 (Mohammad Ishaq, 22.6 ov), 4-85 (Suliman Safi, 23.2 ov), 5-95 (Khaiber Wali, 28.1 ov), 6-126 (Bilal Ahmad, 35.6 ov), 7-168 (Noor Ahmad, 43.6 ov), 8-189 (Izharulhaq Naveed, 47.4 ov), 9-201 (Ijaz Ahmad Ahmadzai, 48.6 ov), 10-201 (Faisal Khan Ahmadzai, 49.2 ov)

- BATSMENRB4s6sSR26.3 castled by a beauty! Noor floors Kellaway with a sharply spun googly that bursts through the gate and clips off! There's the magic at last from Afghanistan's teen phenom, drew him on to the front foot and then ripped the ball back past an expansive drive. A glimmer for Afghanistan? 113/211.1 bowled behind his legs! Wyllie goes too far shuffling across his stumps to sweep and leaves all three pegs exposed. He misses and middle stump bullseye is the result. 53/141.3 beautiful flight from Shahidullah finally tempts out Radhakrishnan. The batter gets nowhere near a good length ball on sixth stump but flails at the ball anyway. Noise as it passed the bat and looked initially like the bowler appeal was for caught behind but the keeper erases any doubt by whipping off the bails anyway with Radhakrishnan four yards gone making no attempt to get back. 167/528.3 googly woogly time! Completely foxes Connolly as he tries to get forward, thinking the ball is turning away from him, and again he leaves a big gap for it to jink back inside and hit the timber! Off trudges the Australia captain, head bowed. Ahmad has landed a couple of big blows 118/339.1 not exactly the wisest maneuver when rain is falling. Higgins charges Shahidullah but doesn't really get to the pitch of a good length ball on fourth stump, heaves across the line trying to clear mid-on and skies it over the ring hitting against the turn. Simple catch taken at mid-on. 159/445.1 half-tracker yanked flat to short midwicket. Poor delivery, Shaw rocks back and slams this straight to the sub fielder Sami stationed inside the ring who crouches down and takes a good catch at knee height. One of the few solid fielding moments of the day for Afghanistan. Unfortunately it may have come too late. 193/646.3 Australia keeps the door ajar for Afghanistan with a sloppy runout. Good length ball on off, punches it to backward point. Major confusion for a run or not and Miller looks like he's toast. He was eight yards down the track before Salzmann turned him back. Miller puts in a desperate dive but even with a rushed and poor relay very high over the stumps that forces Ishaq to leap just to corral it, he gets the bails off with Miller short by half a foot. 195/747.4 Can Afghanistan really win this match? Back of a length ball skids on from fourth stump. Salzmann backs away trying to punch through cover, thin edge juggled and then finally held onto by Ishaq. 196/8Extras27 (lb 1, w 26)TOTAL202/8 (49.1 Overs, RR: 4.1)Did not bat: T WhitneyFall of wickets: 1-53 (Teague Wyllie, 11.1 ov), 2-113 (Campbell Kellaway, 26.3 ov), 3-118 (Cooper Connolly, 28.3 ov), 4-159 (Isaac Higgins, 39.1 ov), 5-167 (Nivethan Radhakrishnan, 41.3 ov), 6-193 (Lachlan Shaw, 45.1 ov), 7-195 (Corey Miller, 46.3 ov), 8-196 (William Salzmann, 47.4 ov)
