India thoroughly outplayed Sri Lanka today and on both sides' forms, it's fair that India go through to the finals series. Sri Lanka just haven't been good enough this tournament, but wil bow out on Friday with a match against Australia which will now be a dead rubber. A good knock from Gambhir who deserved to be not out, and he will take some excellent form into the finals. Tendulkar and Yuvraj can also be pleased with their batting, while not much more needs to be said for Ishant and Praveen Kumar who both took four wickets today. Thanks for joining us today and do come back on Friday.

Once again, the bonus point doesn't matter. India are into the finals regardless
