15.1 that's chopped on! KJP's laboured stay comes to an end! He has played some good shots, but has struggled for timing today. He tries to punch this length delivery on the up through covers, but the lack of pace means he is early in the shot. The ball takes an inside edge and clatters on to the stumps.. This is going to be a tricky pitch.. It's slow, very slow and Afghanistan are bowling very well 50/2
5.4 that's the middle stump gone! Thirimanne goes forward to play a loose drive, it wasn't the right line for it. He leaves a big gap between the bat and pad. Shapoor bowled it full and this one came in a touch too, but that was a loose shot from the batsman. Excellent bowling from Shapoor. 14/1
37.2 Sanga is gone now! His luck runs out and finally Afghanistan strike! Dawlat produced a wonderful yorker that Angelo just about dug out towards square leg. He was off balance, so was not going to look for a run, but Sanga wanted to get to the other end and charged down manically. By the time he realised there was no run, it was too late as an accurate throw was fired to the bowler. Dawlat takes the stumps out. Infact, Angelo looked for a run initially and said NO after a delay 158/5
21.2 oh that's a big wicket! Mahela plays a loose loose shot here! He was looking to chip it over the bowler's head but only gets a toe-end to it to lob it tamely towards mid-on where the fielder moves a little to his left and takes a simple overhead catch. It was not a full delivery, and came slow of the pitch. What a strike this is! Mirwais has been bowling brilliantly and gets some reward. That wicket was more than 11000 ODI runs 83/3
36.5 he throws it away, Chandimal! Tries to go inside out over extra cover, but the tossed up delivery lands on middle stump line, spins past the outside edge and takes the off stump out! Beautifully bowled by Hotak. That dipped and spun. 157/4

41.5 another wicket! another soft dismissal! Sri Lanka are falling apart. De Silva flicks this short of length delivery straight to midwicket. He perhaps wanted to go squarer, but the extra pace from Dawlat meant he wasn't able to get it to the desired direction... 184/6

1.4 the off stump takes a beating! Too rash from Shahzad, some would say. He gets the front leg out of the way, wanted to smash it over mid-on, gives himself too much room and plays an ungainly cross-batted swat.. Unfortunately for him, he makes no connection and the ball hits the top of off..Quick exit for Shahzad 8/1
15.1 caught at point! Noor Ali's vigil ends as he drives the tossed up delivery, but he didn't account for the turn. This one went away after pitching, caught a thick outside edge and was taken easily at point.. 59/3
12.3 bowled him! Stanikzai was playing well, but he has been sent back now. Thisara can ramp up pace at times and he does it here too, bowls a fuller length after delivering quite a few shorter deliveries. The batsman remained rooted to the crease and plays outside the line. The offstump takes a beating 53/2
16.1 and another one! This one is a soft dismissal as Mangal gets a faint edge in trying to guide the length ball to third man. Afghanistan are in trouble here 61/4
20.2 Lakmal strikes! the batsman has a lazy waft at a length delivery outside off and he gets a thick outside edge that flies straight to the lone slip fielder. Thirimanne takes a good catch 73/5
32.3 he raps the batsman on the pads, appeals persistently and the umpire gives away! It was flatter, quicker and it turned a touch too. Nabi was looking to sweep it and was hit in front of middle and leg. That pitched on leg and straightened Seven down now.. 121/7
31.3 he drives again and drives it in the air, straight to the fielder at cover! The shot was on as it was a fuller delivery, but he didn't put anything behind that drive. Turned out to be a tame push and the fielder took it easily. The partnership is broken two short of fifty. Third wicket for Perera 121/6
38.4 and everytime they have looked for a shot, they have given their wickets away! The batsman tries to drive it over cover, but gets a thick outside edge to short third man. Sri Lanka are through to the final of the Asia Cup again 124/10
35.5 a googly gets him a wicket! He was not reading the spin and pays with his wicket as he pushes outside the line. The ball spun in and hit the batsman on his back leg, right in front 122/8
37.6 tossed up delivery outside off, this time the batsman thinks about driving and leaves a gap between the bat and pad, it's a googly again and it hit the middle and leg stump. Another one for Mendis. Sri Lanka are closing doors on Afghanistan quickly 124/9
