5.00pm The difference in class between both sides was very evident this afternoon. On a slow surface, West Indies conceded far too many runs to stand a chance. And then, England showed West Indies how to defend on a slow turner. They finish the group stage of this year's World Cup as table-toppers.
West Indies, on the other hand, could only muster 128 in 50 overs, far below par, albeit on a slow surface. They finish with just two wins through the tournament. Not a good day, not a good fortnight for West Indies, but as long as they go back and improve.
Heather Knight is the Player of the Match: "Really nice, wanted to put in a special performance, got a semi-final on Tuesday. A little worried, very dry wicket. managed to get a couple of partnerships together. Really have to scrap for your runs. Support has been brilliant, it makes a difference when you're playing."
Stafanie Taylor: "Well, we didn't get the start we wanted. Not consistent enough. I trusted the judgement of my partner, but when I went upstairs, I felt like I wanted to kill her (Taylor's non-review of her lbw). Our bowlers did well to restrict them to 220."
Replays show the lbw would have been umpire's call as the ball just clipped the outside of legstump
