For the second day in a row, heavy rain didn't allow any cricket in the tri-series in Nairobi. It was Ireland's second consecutive game to be washed out and they will now have to wait for the result of Thursday's game between Zimbabwe and Kenya to determine whether they are through to Saturday's final.

The forecast for Thursday is for heavy showers and in the event of another washout, all three teams will finish on nine points but Zimbabwe and Kenya will go through on the basis of net run-rate. Unless there is a tie or a no-result on Thursday, Ireland will make it to the title clash.
