An outstanding game. England held their nerve against some audacious Sri Lankan strokeplay, mostly from Mathews whose 73 was made off one leg. They got themselves very, very close; but two brilliant overs from Jordan and Stokes snuffed out Sri Lanka's fire. Breathless stuff.
