5.5 full-length, angled in and that's another big wicket, and what's more, another comfortable take for the reserve keeper! "Solanki's like Godfrey Evans out there," screams David Lloyd, as well he might. England are all over it at the moment 31/4
0.6 there's the breakthrough, and it's the reserve keeper Solanki who takes the catch! Short of a length and fast from Anderson, McCullum swished loosely off the back foot, but found only a thin edge. The chance was taken comfortably enough - Anderson, all is forgiven 7/1
2.2 full length and that's plumb! Fulton was looking to work that off the legs and through midwicket, but he missed. No dispute there. Another breakthrough for England 16/2
3.5 that's a big wicket for England. Taylor was looking itchy out there. He tried to pick Anderson off a good length, but managed only a leading edge to a back-pedalling Flintoff in the covers. Three big wickets, and England are on top 25/3
12.5 Styris calls for a second to wide midwicket, Maddy picks up cleanly and scores a direct hit at the bowler's end and Styris is well short ... the umpire calls for the replay but Styris knows and he is heading off. 91/5
16.2 a step to leg and McMillan slams that high but not with enough power to clear long-off 134/6

16.4 an ugly heave, Oram misses and Maddy has two wickets in three balls. A cry of anguish from Oram as the stumps are clattered 138/7

17.4 right up on the crease, Bond tries to angle the ball behind square on the off but misses and loses his off stump. Good variation of pace, the previous ball was slower, this was quicker 145/8
19.6 yorker length, Gillespie jams down and sends the ball zipping to deep backward point, he attempts to come back for a second but is run out by a country mile 164/9

10.4 oh dear, that's a tame end to a fine innings. Pietersen whipped through midwicket, Maddy was off like a tracer bullet, but the ball went straight to the fielder, McMillan, who coolly rolled the ball back to the non-striker's stumps 80/2
7.5 driven, in the air, and straight down the throat of Lou Vincent at long-off! The captain has the breakthrough, and a very timely one for New Zealand as well 62/1
13.2 full, Pietersen tries a reverse sweep to a quicker ball, misses and is bowled through his legs ... Vettori does a Panesar-like sprint towards the departing batsman 103/4
12.1 short, pulled and McMillan takes a peach of a catch at midwicket, leaping high to his right ... he never took off but it was a super catch nonetheless 87/3
18.1 full, driven to Vettori at extra cover, he misfields, the batsmen chance the second and Shah has to throw himself full length as the ball zips in to McCullum ... Shah slides but he looks to be an inch short ... had his bat not been the wrong way round with the back on the ground then he might just have made it 146/6
13.4 a setback starts to become a crisis ... a dreadful mix-up and Flintoff ends up stranded in the middle of the pitch ... both set off, Shah stopped, started, and then stopped but Flintoff, like an oil tanker, is never going to turn on a sixpence 104/5
18.5 full toss, smashed towards the cover boundary, Patel, who had to adjust a couple of times as the ball swirled, takes a well-judged catch five yards in from the edge 148/8
18.2 he thumps the ball high over the covers, Jeehan Patel, on for the injured Oram, doesn't have to move at deep cover and he takes a routine catch 146/7
