That wraps up tonight's coverage. Come back tomorrow night when the Tridents host the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots. A win for the Patriots and they'll clinch a playoff berth but a loss and they'll be relying on the Tridents to beat the Zouks in order for both the Tridents and the Patriots to both shore up a spot in the 2019 CPL playoffs. Until then, I'm Peter Della Penna. Take care!

Tallawahs captain Chadwick Walton: "At the halfway stage, I thought we were 20 runs short. I thought Kesrick bowled pretty decent tonight and unfortunately the Zouks got over the line. We haven't really put a complete game together and that's why we're sitting at the bottom of the table."

Zouks captain Darren Sammy: "We knew that to stay in the competition we had to win this game. I've been begging Kesrick Williams to lead this bowling attack throughout this competition and the way he stood up today backed up by Fawad... then the start that Jimbo and Fletcher gave us and I've always talked about the way Hardus can bat. Injecting him at No. 5, it was a good game for us."

Kesrick Williams is the Player of the Match for his 3 for 24: "It's been a long time coming. I've been working really hard in the nets and it feels good to come through for the team when we really needed it. Me and the skipper had a long chat before and also the bowling coach. I said I'm just gonna bowl slower balls on this wicket because they're working and use the faster ball as a surprise. I like to be under pressure and I think it brings out the best in me."

11:52 pm So the Tallawahs have been KO'd from making the playoffs for the first time in CPL history. The Zouks, for so long a cursed franchise, are still alive and kicking for a chance at one of the last two playoff spots but will need a lot of help hoping the Tridents stumble through their final three league stage matches. The Tridents can knock out the Zouks if the Tridents can win the remaining matchup between the two sides in Bridgetown, regardless of what the Tridents do in their two other remaining matches. After some horrendous fielding by the Zouks early in the match, the Tallawahs could not capitalize on it in the latter stages of the first innings to get a sufficiently defendable total.

Zouks needed 45 off 45 balls with six wickets in hand but are on the verge of somehow blowing this entering the last two overs needing 19 to win. The Zouks dugout looks incredibly nervy. Springer to bowl the 19th. Starts around the stumps to the lefty Santokie.

Bowled short on leg stump spinning across, Barnwell goes back to swat this over long-on but no elevation. Smith is there 10 yards in from the rope to take this at waist height. Tallawahs are somehow still in this match.
