That's all from us for tonight. For Danyal Rasool, I'm Peter Della Penna. Come back for another barnburner of a doubleheader tomorrow in the CPL starting at 10 am local time. Take care!

Amazon Warriors captain Chris Green: "Another solid bowling performance. We've been really consistent with the ball mixing it around with seam and spin. It's not been one or two guys. It's been different guys every game, doing it up front, in the middle and at the back end. At the start of the tournament we were inconsistent with the bat. The last few games we've built that long partnership that has been a recipe for success and again it's been different guys every game. You can't keep class down. Hetty sets a high bar for himself so he always wanted to get better and contribute to this team. Tonight he stood up and gave us that performance."

Zouks captain Daren Sammy: "I don't think we assessed the conditions really well when we batted. The Guyana team was way better than us. Most of the guys haven't been playing for awhile and to come here on difficult tracks to adjust as quickly as possible has been difficult. You can question the way we play spin. A lot of dot ball percentage in this tournament. If you look at the guys who have been scoring runs, Nicholas Pooran is accustomed to playing spin in Trinidad and Guyana. I know my team is depending on me for a performance. We have already qualified for the playoffs. I won't let this string of poor performances question my belief in my ability."

Shimron Hetmyer is the Man of the Match: "We just had to express ourselves and play our natural game and that worked for us tonight. I'm trying to stay a little more focused on my game, how to start an innings. The guys are starting to work harder than before and starting to believe in ourselves. From here on out it's about taking it one game at a time."

9.30 pm So the Amazon Warriors have clinched a semi-final berth with the win. Not only that, but the margin of the whooping means the Amazon Warriors have sped past the Zouks on the net run rate tiebreaker with both teams level on 10 points. However, the Zouks have a game in hand. The Amazon Warriors will take on the Tridents in their regular season finale.

Cornwall to Hetmyer, 1 run, that about sums up the Zouks tonight. Full and wide, Hetmyer misses a drive but it goes through the keeper's legs for a bye to clinch victory for the Amazon Warriors by seven wickets with 37 balls to spare. Apparently it has been credited as a run. Didn't look like he hit it live. Regardless the game is done and dusted.

Cornwall to Hetmyer, 2 runs, missed runout chance! Good length on fifth stump, cut to Najibullah and he fires a one-bounce throw to Cornwall. Hetmyer is gone by four yards. A good relay would have had him but Cornwall doesn't get back behind the stumps after delivery and the ball bounces past, they come back for an overthrow to rub salt into the wound.

Around the stumps now.

Glen to Pooran, OUT, premeditates a reverse sweep/pull to a good length ball and picks out deep cover. Smart diving catch by Boucher coming in 10 yards off the rope. Glenn might think that Pooran was showing off a touch with the shot attempt and responds with an over the top dance to celebrate claiming his wicket in the midst of the Zouks getting pasted.
