That's it from me and Danyal Rasool tonight. We'll be taking a breather tomorrow before the CPL action continues on Tuesday. TKR and the Tallawahs play the first semi at 10 am local time before the Amazon Warriors and Zouks clash at 5:30 pm in Tarouba. For now, I'm Peter Della Penna. Take care!

Zouks captain Daren Sammy: "We always believe it's never over. After all, if we can't believe at 80 for 0 when we just defended 92, we wouldn't be doing justice for ourself. That's the game of cricket. It's never over until they get the last run. We don't have guys in the top of the runs but our bowlers are pulling us through. This is the performance we've been looking for from Zahir to get us wickets in the middle overs period. All in all, we feel good to qualify for the playoffs. I would love to win my semi-final game and Jamaica is feeling the same. Like Rovman said it's a clean slate now. Whatever you did before doesn't matter. It's how you play on Tuesday for your team, who wants it most. I have a strong feeling something might just happen for both teams."

Tallawahs captain Rovman Powell: "It was a decent bowling effort. Still a bit of improvement but I'll take 145 any day. [The opening pair] did their job, it's just for the middle order now to find some runs. We go into the semi-finals now with a clean slate. It's sometimes difficult to forget what happened before but we have to do that."

Zahir Khan named Man of the Match: [Nabi is translating into English] "Last few games I didn't perform very well. This time I performed well. I played last year for Jamaica Tallawahs and know most of the players today and worked to bowl against them. The pitches are totally different from last year. We got that one or two wickets and it totally changed it."

6.00 pm From 84 for 0 in the 12th, the Tallawahs throw away this match. Zouks missing their leading wicket-taker Kuggeleijn and yet they cling on to win by 11 runs. Tallawahs now enter their semi-final against Trinbago Knight Riders on a four-match winless streak (three losses and a no result). Zouks on the other hand have a bit of momentum heading into their semi-final against the Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Chase to Mujeeb Ur Rahman, 1 leg bye, Mujeeb tries to have a bit of fun going to reverse sweep another yorker length ball on his legs, misses off the pads and goes to fine leg for an extra.

Victory mathematically sealed now.

Chase to Mujeeb Ur Rahman, no run, yorker length ball on leg stump, jammed out to extra cover.

Chase to Edwards, 1 run, full outside off, scuffs a heave along the ground to deep midwicket.

1
Chase to Mujeeb Ur Rahman, 1 run, Mujeeb charges a full ball and inside edges to short fine leg. Relay to the bowler's end would've had him with a direct hit but Chase couldn't collect the one bounce throw cleanly to get the bails off.

Chase to Edwards, 1 run, short on the legs, pulled fine past short fine leg, but not far enough away to allow a second.

Two wickets in two balls for the Zouks for the third time tonight, but no hat-trick opportunity for Williams as we're into the final over now.

Tallawahs are on the brink of blowing what seemed like a straightforward victory at the halfway point of the chase. Lamichhane in.

W
Williams to Kirton, OUT, Kirton backs away from leg one too many times and pays the price. Williams comes back with a slower ball, landing on a length on off stump. Kirton backed away an extra step more than usual accounting for the pace of the slower ball and by the time it arrived he had too far to reach to make contact trying to slap at it.

1
Glen to Mujeeb Ur Rahman, 1 run, good length ball on middle, goes back and nudges this into the leg side. The ball hits Kirton cutting across the pitch to make his ground at the striker's end, very lucky there was not an appeal for obstructing the field because he almost certainly would've been given out.

Second hat-trick ball of the innings. No extra catching fielders brought in unlike for Zahir though.

Glen to Permaul, OUT, almost identical to the Brathwaite dismissal, except the ball bypasses the knee and just clangs straight into off stump. It was flighted full on middle and off, Permaul's eyes lit up going to slog this across the line. The zing bails light up moments later after he fans on the heave.

Glen to Brathwaite, OUT, Brathwaite throws away the extra life with a poor slog across the line. Flighted full on middle and off stump, goes to slog sweep this, too full for the shot and he's struck in line with off stump while his knee is flexed very far forward. Simple decision.
