That ends our coverage of this match. Join us tomorrow as the action continues to unfold in the CPL, Patriots will lock horns with Warriors in the 8th match. For now, on behalf of Binoy George, this is Rvel Zahid signing off. Sayonara!

Salman Irshad, Player of the Match: I just bowl in good area and got success. I played a lot of T20 cricket in Pakistan on flat wickets. I had an idea on how to bowl at good length. I am a T20 specialist in domestic cricket and in PSL. My confidence is high because Imad and Amir are with me and that helped.

Evin Lewis, Patriots Captain: We didn't get the start we wanted to get. I am still happy the middle order pushed us to a good total. It was tough; pitch was two-paced. Nature of the pitch changed (in the second innings), the dew made it easy for the batters; it was sliding easily on the bat. We didn't bowl pretty bad...I always back my bowlers. We have another game, we will regroup and go again.

Brandon King, Tallawahs Captain: (Pakistani contingent) have been great. Surface gave Irshad assistance and he made sure to make most of it. I decided to bring him early, with his (slingy) action, it's difficult to pick variations. We tried to get a very good start to make rest of the chase easier. It's good to have consistent scores which comes from consistency of approach. In Caribbean, you have to assess early. I have tried to add some skills in my batting and it's working well for me. Hope we continue to win.

Salman Irshad was brilliant with the ball; it was an incredible spell of fast bowling, and he got backed up terrifically by his countryman Mohammad Amir, which kept the Patriots to a modest 156. In reply, Brandon King continued to cash in on his rich vein of form and raced to 67. Thereon, Brooks made sure there was no hiccup in a straightforward chase and remained unbeaten on 38. Tallawahs have jumped to the top of the table now with two wins and five points on the board

Muzarabani to Jangoo, SIX, Take that! Short ball on off, butchers it over midwicket and it crashes the advertising hoardings. That was absolutely leathered right out of the middle. Targets the shorter boundary, and that's where it goes!

Thomas to Brooks, no run, Good length, width on offer, splays his front foot out towards midwicket and then tries to muscle it down the ground but can't find the timing he was looking for

Thomas to Brooks, no run, Stays back and forces this short ball on off to short midwicket, sharp fielding diving to his left

Thomas to Brooks, SIX, Uses the pace to his advantage and sends this shorter delivery on middle over midwicket for a sensational six! High and handsome, well under-control while pulling this away, planted his front leg and sent it fizzing away in the aisles. Thomas got a bit predictable with his length and he was ready on the backfoot for this delivery

Thomas to Brooks, no run, Gives himself room and threw the kitchen sink at it! Too early into the shot as the shortish ball curls away just outside off
