19.4 slices this to third man where the fielder, despite the ball dying on him, has managed to hold on. The stadium applauds a super knock. Smith had little energy left in his tank. This was a tired shot but he's done his job 157/3
15.6 Permaul has redeemed himself this time. Williamson looked to hit this straight and over the bowler's head for six but didn't get the power or timing he would've liked, the breeze took it away a bit as well. Permaul was right under the swirler, mindful of the roped behind him, as he completed a well-judged catch. 107/1
19.1 composure of Rashid has meant a tough catch has been made to look ridiculously easy at long-on. Pollard toe-ended this attempted slog off a low full toss, dragged this from way outside off which meant he didn't get the power he would've liked. Rashid was a little off balance, perhaps because of cramps as he quickly signalled towards the physio after, but somehow managed to cling on 152/2
19.5 another yorker, this time the leg stump has been flattened. Looking to walk across the stumps and paddle it fine but the ball kept coming back in to beat the bat. Can't blame him for trying to be adventurous at this stage. 157/4

16.4 good length on middle stump and oh dear Chadwick Walton what have you done? He tries to slog that over long on, but the ball finds his blade's toe end. It's a skyer, and mid off takes a simple catch running backwards. Is there a twist in the tale? We wouldn't be surprised if there was. 145/4
4.1 full outside off and the pinch-hitter's eyes lit up as the ball comes in his arc. Looks to send that over long-off for six more but it catches the toe end of his bat. Not quite the timing he was looking for, and mid off races back to take a sharp catch. 48/1
5.2 good length on middle and leg, Singh tries to make room and play that on the leg side. Too close to his body and he misses it altogether. Crashes into middle and leg stump. Singh has to go. The bowler ensures the batsman heard him on his way back. Two wickets in eight balls 64/2
16.3 it's slow once again but Guptill is prepared for it this time. Muscles that over the bowler's head but it does not have the elevation. Long-on swallows that and there's the breakthrough! The captain has to go. 145/3
18.2 full on off stump and that's been crisply driven on the up back past the bowler's head. Again, not the elevation Mohammed wanted and Tion Webster takes an epic catch at long off. He overran from wide long-off, loses his footing as well, but manages to hold on to that catch. It was coming towards him at some pace. Pollard is delighted, and why not? That's two dot balls 152/5

18.3 oh Guyana Amazon Warriors what are you doing? Full on middle and Keemo Paul, who has not faced a ball yet, looks to slog that over cow corner. Flies high and straight down Williamson's throat at long off. Pollard's on another hat-trick. Unreal stuff, this. 152/6

  • Walton special keeps Warriors alive

Barbados Tridents posted the highest CPL total at Providence courtesy Dwayne Smith's century and then made a late victory push courtesy Kieron Pollard's four-for, but it wasn't enough
