6:25pm Right. That will be that from us for this game. But the action does not stop in the Women's T20 World Cup. In about half an hour, Sri Lanka will take on New Zealand in a clash that could define their respective campaigns. Do join us for that game. Until next time, this is me (Shashwat) signing off on behalf of Ranjith, Vairavan and everyone at ESPNcricinfo. Goodbye, goodnight and take care!

Hayley Matthews, West Indies captain: Good to bring momentum from the last game. We did what we had to do and if a couple of results go our way, who knows (if we can qualify). It is just so exciting (the young players coming in) and it is going to be an exciting journey just watching them grow. It has been brilliant to see them.

Bismah Maroof, Pakistan captain: It is hurtful for everyone. It was a very close match. We were not up to the mark in our batting. We know that the wickets are very slow. We knew our spin department is very good. It (against England) is an important match for us. We have played good cricket throughout and we will try to continue that.

Hayley Matthews, Player of the Match: My heart is still beating a bit fast. Really happy to get over the line in the end. (On the catch) We knew we had to be extra special and we spoke about getting our bodies behind the ball. We did a fantastic job. It was a reaction catch and it stuck in the middle of the palm. The wicket had its own variation. We just tried to bowl as straight as possible and use the pitch as much as possible.

6:15pm Phew, that was some game. At the half-way mark, not many would have expected the West Indies to pull this one out of the fire. But they have. They were brilliant with the bat, kept bowling a wicket-to-wicket line and rarely offered up freebies. The onus, thus, fell on the Pakistan batters, who were subdued for large parts. They made a dash towards the end but by then, the mountain they had made for themselves was too steep to climb.

Plenty to ponder for both teams. The West Indies, especially after such a win, would be wondering how different things could have panned out had they been so clinical in their other matches. Pakistan, on the other hand, would be feeling that they were too circumspect and allowed the West Indies into a game they had no business winning.

Connell to Omaima Sohail, 1 leg bye, West Indies win! Full and angled into the pads. Omaima swings but misses. The ball trickles off the pads towards the keeper, who flings out her left mitt and stops the ball. She then fires a needless throw but her stop is enough to propel the West Indies to a wonderful victory! They have defended 116 and might have even knocked Pakistan out of this Women's T20 World Cup!

Five needed for the win; four needed for a Super Over. Where is this one headed? Omaima Sohail to face the final ball. The West Indies only have three players on the fence because they have exceeded the time limit to bowl their overs

Connell to Aliya Riaz, OUT, chops it on, this is drama of the highest quality! Back of a length delivery just outside off stump. Aliya looks to crash it over extra cover but is slightly early into the stroke, meaning that she drags it back onto the stumps! What a massive moment in this game!

Connell to Aliya Riaz, FOUR, four more, oh my! Slower delivery dragged down on middle and off stump. Aliya hangs back in her crease again and smears it past square leg

9 needed off 3. The West Indies might be feeling the pinch now
