5.50pm An utterly dominant and clinical chase from Australia, completing the win with seven wickets and 40 balls to spare. Ireland did not have enough with the ball and were not helped with just 91 on the board. Australia came out with good intent and made it look comfortable, were never really in any trouble. Australia are level with NZ on points but have finished their group games. NZ play later today and a win for them will help Australia book a spot in the the semis. Sri Lanka have been knocked out. South Africa have to win both their games and by a margin big enough to put them ahead of Australia on NRR. But, Australia have done all they could today.

Megan Schutt is the Player of the Match: We needed to win well and showed what we got today. We had to win first. It's been a bit more true (this wicket).

Meg Lanning: "Thought our bowlers set the tone early. They got away in the Powerplay but to restrict them to 91, allowed our batters to play freely. Built good momentum early in the tournament. We'll be ready to go. Hopefully NZ can have a win and we'll get to the semis first."

Isobel Joyce: "Flashes of good play but our inexperience showed in the end. Good tournament but no one wants to lose four in a row so we'll try to make sure it doesnt happen again."
