3.3 off stump out of the ground! Fired in fuller on off stump. Much quicker than the previous one and Gunaratne, having advanced, ends up yorking herself. Cannot jam her bat down in time and the ball sneaks under the toe-end, leaving off stump in a mess ultimately. Carson with the breakthrough, and NZ will feel a little better now, after a slightly iffy start! 26/1
13.3 Kerr gets the big fish, and NZ's pressure pays off! This is slower and on a length outside off. Athapaththu looks at the length and thinks she can swipe this over cow corner. Not to the pitch of the ball, though, and that means she can only drag it back onto her stumps. NZ have applied the squeeze in the past few minutes, and they now have a very handsome reward to show for it! 74/2
14.2 beautiful, beautiful bowling, and Samarawickrama bites the dust! Kasperek has the ball on a string and this dangles in the air for an eternity before dropping devilishly on a length on middle and off. Samarawickrama thinks it is there to loft but she is nowhere to the pitch of the ball. Chips it tamely to extra cover and Kerr takes a smart overhead catch to hand Kasperek her first wicket at this year's T20 World Cup! 76/3
17.1 Kerr pleads, and umpire Anna Harris raises her finger! Googly lobbed up on a length in and around off stump. Dilhari looks for the big slog sweep and misses it completely. Gets pinned on the back leg and that seemed to be heading towards the stumps. The only question, though, is where the impact was, and Dilhari has gone upstairs to check. No bat involved. Ball Tracking comes up and...reckons the impact is in line, with the ball crashing into middle and leg stump. Three reds and Dilhari is outta here! 97/5
16.1 superb grab by the skipper, and Kasperek has two! Throws up the bait outside off and Sanjeewani bites. Hares down the track, looking to go downtown but slices across it too much and plonks it up towards mid off. Devine watches it all the way over her left shoulder and gobbles up the chance. NZ keep plugging away! 89/4

7.3 Nisansala cleans Bates up! Slowed up on a length on off. Does not spin away from Bates and comes in with the angle. She is not to the pitch of the ball either and plays all over it. The ball sneaks past the inside edge and thuds into middle stump. Will that get SL back into this game? 49/1
14.5 holes out to deep mid wicket, and Plimmer's vigil comes to an end! A bit of a drag-down really and Plimmer will be kicking herself. Tries to smoke it over deep mid wicket but the lack of pace off the surface means she does not generate the power she wants. Nilakshika settles under it and does the rest. Muted celebrations from Sri Lanka; applause from those in the White Ferns camp - this has been a top, top innings! 95/2
