10.00pm The Uttar Pradesh players let out a massive cheer as they pose for the post-match team photos. They've played wonderfully. That brings us to the end of our ball-by-ball coverage of this game. Hope you've enjoyed it. Until next time, ta ta!
Suresh Raina, the UP captain, is also man of the match. "We've played really well as a unit. The bowlers bowled very well, showed character. I've always felt Kuldeep was a very good bowler. He bowls very well in patches, and I felt he needed to bowl more regularly in matches, which is what he has done here, practiced a lot in the nets. I thought over 150 will be a very good total. I looked to build partnerships. Prashant Gupta batted very well."
9.55pm Presentation time. First up, Irfan Pathan: "Losing a final is very disappointing, but really proud of the way the boys played throughout the tournament. Hopefully next year we'll come back and come back hard. Raina played really well, he kept one end safe. It wasn't easy for the new batsman to come in and start hitting the ball. We kept losing wickets. One set batsman would have been there, it would have been easier to hit the ball. I really want to congratulate the groundsman. If we get pitches like this in first-class cricket, it will improve our standards a lot. It had true bounce. Well done, UP."
9.45pm Kuldeep Yadav says he's lucky to have Piyush Chawla as a teammate - "I have a lot to learn from him. PC bhai keeps telling me which areas to bowl and what trajectory to bowl."
Atul: "This could be my happiest cricketing moment since the World Cup win. The years of disappointment in between seem to have gone missing. Who would have thought UP could come back like this after a disappointing Ranji Trophy. Raina's presence played a role maybe."
Tamil: "Yusuf's innings reminds me of Yuvi's innings in Wt20 final. It is almost same."
9.42pm An utterly one-sided game in the end. UP were magnificent with the ball, particularly their spinners, and particularly Kuldeep Yadav, who sucked the air out of Baroda's chase with a spell of 4-0-12-2. Piyush Chawla was accurate and varied his pace well, and pretty much all of the seamers were on the money with their yorkers. You can see why they've won nine on the trot in this tournament, and are deserved winners of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Some sort of hold-up in play. Don't know what the issue is. Anyway, we're able to continue now.
