Bad news im afraid. The rain has just started here and the covers are being brought on. We still arent losing any overs yet. If we arent playing in 20 minutes the overs will start being lost.

We have just heard from the Umpires that we need to get out playing by 1.26pm or play will be called off today. If it is called off today we will be back tomorrow to try and finish. Match State: Delay - rain

1.00pm The rain has stopped and the Umpires are out in the middle looking at the ground. There has been lots of rain so they must be discussing whether they can dry it all up to get the game started before 1.26pm.

1.15pm Bad news im afraid. The rain has just deposited too much rain and it will not dry up before the cut off time. So we come back to finish the game at 10.00am tomorrow. So please join me then.

Good morning and welcome again to the game between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. We have had alot of rain last night and it looks like some of it got under the covers. The news from the ground is that we are going to have an inspection at 10.45am, so hopefully will have some more news then.

11.00am Bad news from they ground im afraid. The ground is just too wet and its not drying out so the Umpires have called the game off.
