9:30pm That will be all from us for this game. We hope you enjoyed our coverage and we hope to have your company for all the cricket lined up post Christmas. Until then, this is me, Shashwat, signing off on behalf of Ranjith and Shashank. Have a Merry Christmas, everyone!

Harleen Deol, Player of the Match: It is a very proud moment for me, waiting for it for a long time. Just enjoying it (at the moment). When I came into bat, I had that much time (to build my innings). Thought of just playing some cricket and thought that the more I play, the more shots I can play (later). When you are batting well, it is always easy, no matter where you are batting. I was thinking about continuing that flow (from the last match). It means a lot to me (to score a hundred). When I was in rehab, that was what I was thinking about day in, day out, with the ultimate goal being to make my team win. Today was that dream, so I just went with the flow. (On her hundred and if this was a free-flowing one or a scrappy one) For me, this is the first one, so I don't know about scrappy hundreds (smiles).

Harmanpreet Kaur, India captain: We did what we were expecting. The way our openers gave us the start, after that Harleen's batting and Jemi was also there to support the team. Really happy with the way we batted. (On the pitch and if it was better) Definitely. Even in the second innings, the way Hayley was batting, it indicated this pitch was better for batters. (On if the Campbelle-Matthews partnership worried them) We had a decent total on the board and the way our bowlers were bowling, we had that trust on them that they can, at any point, take a wicket and turn the tables. Our bowlers are doing well. In between, we leaked a few runs but then Deepti came back, kept the runs down and then Titas came back (and picked up a wicket from the other end).

Hayley Matthews, West Indies captain: You never really want to finish an innings chasing 350-plus. Kudos to their batters, they have talented players who have stepped up. We have to restrict them a little more and take some early wickets as well. This series is very important for us and we have to look at the fact that one more game is left. Those points could be important for us and could put us in a good position (to qualify for the World Cup). Rest up tomorrow, have a good Christmas and get right back to it (after that). (On her century) Good to contribute to the team. Bittersweet being on the losing end, but good to spend some time in the middle and hopefully I can use that to my advantage (in the next match).

Pratika Rawal: The batting (pleased me the most), because that is what I like doing. I just did what I did in the last match: play on the merit. The wicket was better, the bounce was good and it was coming nicely onto the bat. I just had this thought in my mind that whenever the ball is in my slot, I will hit it hard. He (Amol Muzumdar, head coach) changed something in my grip (during the last training session) and that helped me quite a bit. I was not able to hold my nerves in the previous match. Was more confident today and that was the difference (in playing more on the off side). I was told in the practice sessions that I might get bowling, and happy to contribute to the team.

9:04pm A fairly comfortable win for India, even if it did not reach the one-sided proportions of Sunday. It was a solid bowling display, showcasing India's accuracy and their ability to stick to their plans. Mishra was the most successful of the bowlers, picking up three. Deepti, Rawal and Sadhu bagged two apiece, with Renuka getting the big wicket of Dottin.

As for West Indies, Matthews scoring yet another ODI hundred in 2024 was the bright and more damningly, lone spark in their batting line-up. None of the others could get going enough and even though they always had a mountain to climb, their batters' inability to dominate will leave them worried, and will, alongside the runs they are shipping, occupy much of their thinking heading into Friday.

Priya Mishra to Ramharack, OUT, that will be that! Another ODI series at home, and another series victory for India! Gently lobbed up outside off and Ramharack takes the bait. Does not get the purchase she wants on the lofted stroke and Deol, who was so impressive earlier in the day, fittingly, takes the catch that consigns West Indies to a series defeat away from home, and caps off another clinical Indian performance!

Pratika Rawal to Connell, FOUR, off the mark straightaway! Length outside off and the width is the problem here. Connell does not move her feet much but the hands go through the ball beautifully, helping her scorch it past cover for four!

Pratika Rawal to Fletcher, OUT, two fours, and now she departs! Rawal dangles the carrot again, this time outside off. Fletcher's eyes light up and she seeks to go downtown. Gets a decent piece of it but not enough to clear the fence. Mandhana settles under the high ball at long on and does the rest. West Indies nine down now!

Priya Mishra to Zaida James, OUT, super grab by Rawal, and Mishra has two! Seems like another googly, pitching on a length just outside off and kicking up off the surface. James shapes for the cut but the extra bounce means she slices it. Rawal judges it to perfection at backward point and lunges forward to snare the chance! India two wickets away from sealing the series!
