7.02pm Lots of similarities to last night's Islamabad v Peshawar game. Another thrashing to start off. Last night, it took Wahab all the way down at No. 9 to notch up the innings' highest score. Tonight, it was another 180-plus chase, and Sohail Tanvir at No. 8 top-scored. But the margin of tonight's result is a lot bigger. And that is down to an utterly listless batting performance, a magical spell of legspin bowling from Shahid Afridi, and knocks of high quality from Joe Denly and Babar Azam. As a result of that all, Karachi jump to to second place, while Multan Sultans find themselves in a bit of a precarious position. They are on the same points as Karach - nine - but have played two matches extra and have just one match left to try and do something about their chances.
Umair Mehmood: "Is Karachi ahead of Multan now on points table?" Yes, by one position.
Time for presentations. First up, Kumar Sangakkara gets the Hanif Mohammad cap for going to the top of the batting charts.
Shahid Afridi is Man of the Match. "Conditions suited the spinners," he says. "I'll give credit to Babar and Joe Denly, because of whose efforts we were able to put up this total. We went as per plan and in T20 I try to keep things simple, but I do variations to avoid becoming predictable. When you win against good teams, the confidence is high. But I strongly feel fielding is what will win us the tournament."
"You win some and lose some, but you learn from your mistakes," says Multan Sultans captain Shoaib Malik. "This is not the end of the world. We leaked a few extra runs, and when you're chasing a big total, you need to have wickets in hand. Early on, the pitch was fresh and the ball was coming on. But, having said that, need to give credit to Karachi's batsmen, especially Joe Denly and Babar, who strung together a partnership and accelerated when it was needed."
"We were under pressure after the last two games," says Karachi captain Imad Wasim. "We came out saying we needed to give it a go and it came off well. Runs on the board is important, and credit goes to Joe Denly and Babar Azam. Ingram just bats at No. 3 or 4, wherever we need him, because he's a very good hitter of spin. I believe the best batter has to face the most balls. This was his role today but we want to see him score big runs."
That's a wrap of this game. Peshawar Zalmi v Quetta Gladiators coming up, so hang around for that. Goodbye from me. Pleasure, as always, and thanks for your comments and company.

Awais Amin: "Cant help but think about how much more intense and competitive PSL would have been if only top 3 teams would qualify for play offs than 4. Top 2 teams would play the first one, winner goes to final and loser plays the 3rd ranked in virtual semifinal. Teams would play out of their skin to stay in contention."
imran: "If afridi for president than sure Misbah as prime minister to keep the President calm and calculated" Not a bad choice either.
