That's us done, then. Thanks so much for sticking by us and join us again tomorrow

Right, what a cracker of a contest that was. As you might expect, Hazratullah Zazai is the Player of the Match

"I performed like this on my PSL debut last week, and I just got confidence from that. When you have confidence, and when I struck that first six off Amir, I felt it was my day. I was pacing myself to stay ahead of the rate because I was in the zone. I was looking to make things easy for the batsmen that followed, and thankfully we did that."

Wahab Riaz says there's lots of pressure on him as the captain but praises the team. "I was just praying our batting gets us over the line. As a captain, losing the playoff game against Lahore hurt us a lot because I felt we would have won that if I bowled a good over. Karachi is a big team but we showed character. We gave our all in the field and it was very satisfying to see."

He's confident there won't be a drop-off against Islamabad United. "The pressure will be on Islamabad because of how ell they've played now that they are one game away from elimination. I'm just happy we get another chance against them."

Imad Wasim, losing captain: "We played very good cricket. We were 10-20 short. Bowlers bowled well. Can't ask for more...those catches. They bowled really well but we were short, we should've got 190. Zazai was great, we tried different things but wasn't enough. To fans, keep supporting us. Next season we'll come back hard. Couple of guys played well this season. We'll come back..."

2.20pm Rutherford the hero in the end as Zalmi set up a date with Islamabad United tomorrow for the second spot in Thursday's PSL final against Multan Sultans. Zalmi win, but not convincingly, however you'd think they were the better side. Zazai's blitzkrieg does not go to waste.

ABAE: "Terrific bowling from Ilyas, created chances, and generally was good with economy. Unlucky but Zazai was too much for the Kings"

Camper: "Rutherford surely has sealed a spot for the WI WT20 side!! Done this SO often.."

Khawaja Rehan A: "Good Over Ilyas, Your fielders did not gave you the best but 5 out of 5 to you for this last over!!! My last comment for this PSL and i know its not gonna published"

Mohammad Ilyas to Rutherford, 1 run, full, on off. Goes for the glory shot, and the ball is in the air! Short mid off tracks backwards to try and take a catch, but he can't do it! Perera goes for the one hander behind his head, and that is dropped! They take one and the champions are knocked out! Two dropped catches, including one here, and Zalmi live to fight another day

Fielders in.

Mohammad Ilyas to Rutherford, no run, advantage Kings? What a crucial delivery. Length ball, super fast. Hits the deck and gets some extra bounce. Rutherford misses the slog.

Mohsin Cheema: "I've a exam tomorrow early.. and Ilyas is wasting alot of time of mine for setting his trousers again and again" -- slowing the game down, a good strategy. Making the nervous batters even more nervous

Mohammad Ilyas to Rutherford, 1 run, oh dear dropped! And they get a run too. Looks to clear a six over cover but it's been sliced in the air. Danish gets under it at point, but the ball is swirling in the air, and it's not easy. Tries to slide and catch but it goes through his fingers. Akram just smiles in the dugout

This is it guys.... the match comes down to the last six balls. Two West Indians in the middle for Zalmi. Ilyas left with the task to defend six. Delay as Ilyas wants to change his shoes.

Ali Jawed: "Super Over. Super Over. We want a Super Over."

Mohammad Amir to Rutherford, 1 leg bye, fullish, on middle and leg. Misses the slog. Hits the pad and rolls away to the leg side

Fourteen off 12 balls. Zalmi should look to bring it down to less than six for the final over. Only because nerves can get into play with six balls to go. A couple of wickets, at this stage, however...
