10.31 pm Lahore more than double up Islamabad tonight, winning by 119 runs. They've now won five straight over Islamabad after this dismantling. More importantly, Lahore are now in pole position at the top of the table with one match left to play. Meanwhile, not only have Islamabad lost but their net run rate took such a hammering tonight that Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi are both in with a chance of overtaking Islamabad for second place on the table if their franchise can win their last two matches and Islamabad loses their final match, which is against Zalmi. Peshawar plays Multan tomorrow so that match is effectively an eliminator for who can still chase down Islamabad for second place.

Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan is speaking on field right now. Most of the interview is in Urdu but there's a snippet of English in there when asked about his team's performance where he shrugs and says, "Catches win matches." That's all that needed to be said in English to sum up why and where he lost this match. Fakhar Zaman dropped on 1 and 71 before making 115 in the end.

Maruf : "I know I'm late but just taking my chance to say fakhar Zaman beat IU by 8 runs "

Fakhar Zaman is named Player of the Match for his century.

That'll do it for today's live coverage. Come back tomorrow for a key showdown between Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi. Until then, take care!

Wiese to Mohammad Wasim, no run, length ball tailing down leg, called a wide and Billings doesn't like it and asks for Shaheen to call for DRS. Whether for an edge or to erase the wide call. Big deflection off the pads to the keeper. Definitely no bat but clearly off the hip. Wide call is negated, but Qalandars lose their last review.

Hamza: "Why isn't Azam Khan batting?" For those joining us late, he injured his left hand while keeping wicket in the field and has gone to the hospital for x-rays. He is unavailable to bat. So Islamabad are now down to their last wicket.

Rashid Khan to Mohammad Wasim, 1 run, big appeal for lbw on a full pitched delivery on middle. Did this hit pad first or bat first? The ball was driven to mid-on for one but Shaheen calls for the review thinking it skidding off the pads first before he jammed it out down the ground with the bat. Replays show the first noise was bat onto pad before bat onto ball. The ball never hits the pad. Review lost.

Rashid Khan to Asif Ali, OUT, bullseye! On a batting paradise, Rashid is reigning supreme tonight. Good length on middle zipped in much quicker and doesn't allow Asif to get anywhere near the pitch of the ball charging down the wicket. He flails at this hopelessly and misses as the ball cannons into middle stump 3/4 of the way up.
