It was a good match, it was difficult to bring in spinners when Pollard was in; they build a crucial partnership. Hasan played a really good shot in the end, couldn't bowl left-arm spinner from the end with shorter boundaries so we wanted to take it till the end. Players have done well, Haris bowling was terrific but unfortunately he got injured. I hope and pray that he is okay because he is an asset for Pakistan. We'll try to do better in upcoming matches.

Agonizing defeat for Lahore Qalandars who fought till the last moment but still remain at the bottom of the table. What an incredible contest, Lahore-Karachi rivalry lived up to its hype and fans saw a heart-racing thriller! Hasan Ali will be a relieved man because that was not the most sensible of shots at that time as he looked to finish the game with a glory shot. He will thank Mir Hamza for getting Karachi over the line. Karachi were in doldrums at 44/4 but a fantastic partnership between veterans Shoaib Malik and Kieron Pollard got them out of trouble and the duo put the chase back on track. The 95-run stand changed the complexion of the game but Lahore managed to uncouple them and roared back into the game. There were so many twists and turns and the game oscillated like a pendulum!
