Scorer: K Vairavan | Commentator: Rvel Zahid

You could cut the tension in the air with a knife towards the end! Quetta continues their stellar run and have won three match on the bounce. There was a stutter but with only 139 to chase, it was a matter of a few timely pressure-relieving boundaries and that came off Mohammad Amir's bat in the end. Rossouw did well to hold his end despite not finding his mojo but Amir finished the job with swagger. Quetta threw away the winning situation with panic at the backend but they managed to circumvent through the wobbles and capped off another win. It was always going to be a tough ask to defend a subpar total but Islamabad didn't go down without a spirited fight. Thanks for your comments; see you all again tomorrow. On behalf of the team at ESPNcricinfo, this is Rvel Zahid signing off

Bruce Wayne: "Really bad captaincy by Shadab here - Hunain has 2 overs left and he bowled Salman's part timers!"

Adil: "I don't think bowling Salman Agha was a bad option. Batsmen were not entirely comfortable around him, apart from the odd boundary he conceded. "

Adeel: "A father is happy and his son is not.. Moin and Azam."

Rumman Raees to Mohammad Amir, 1 run, Slightly shortish at off, knucked past cover and hits the winning runs, Quetta Gladiators win the low-scoring affair comfortably in the end but what a nail-biter, had us on the edge of our seats!

Hira Wahla: "why didnt Hunain bowl out his overs after Naseem's spell is beyond me"

Rumman Raees to Mohammad Amir, FOUR, Mohammad Amir punches the air in jubilation, in the slot and cut away up and over backward point for a four, he is pumped up. Batting with so much composure and calmness! Amir got a big smile on his face, turns the table on Islamabad with an effective cameo

Shadab Khan to Mohammad Amir, 1 run, Round the wicket, length and drifting in at middle and leg, swiped to mid-on and a misfield leaks a run. Sloppy

Shadab Khan to Mohammad Amir, FOUR, That has released all the pressure, steps away to the on side and flash a cut over cover for a boundary, what a superb shot, pressure, what pressure says Mohammad Amir?
