6:35pm That will be all from us for this game. Another PSL match is slated to begin very soon and you can catch all the action here. Until next time, from all of us here at ESPNcricinfo, it is goodbye!

Michael Bracewell, Player of the Match: The openers set us a great foundation. We were able to apply pressure at the right time. The way they (Jamal and Samad) batted, was amazing.

Babar Azam, the winning captain: We wanted to utilize the first six overs and capitalise on the momentum. Our middle order responded well and batted according to the situation. (On if chasing is the right move in Lahore) If there is dew, you will want to bowl or bat second. In all of the matches, chasing has been good. (On his form) Hopefully I can do even better.

Mohammad Rizwan, the losing captain: Our batters have been in form. But we need to fix our execution and some other things with our bowling.

6:16pm A thrilling run-chase, and a chase powered by contributions throughout. Babar and Haris set the ball rolling early, teeing off in the powerplay. They lost some momentum as the field restrictions were lifted and when Mendis was dismissed in the 15th over, it felt it was a bridge too far for Zalmi. But then Bracewell and Samad arrived, and they tore the Pindiz attack to shreds. Samad could not remain unbeaten but did plenty of damage while he was at the crease, with Bracewell and Jamal landing the final knockout blows.

Pindiz will feel they have let one get away. Their experienced pacers lost the plot towards the end and their bowling in the last five overs, in general, was quite ordinary. At the half-way stage, their head coach did say they were ten runs short, and so it proved, with only Rishad going at less than nine runs per over, and with Pindiz using just five bowlers. Stick around for the post-match presentation.

Asif Afridi to Aamer Jamal, FOUR, that is all over, Red Rover! Highest successful PSL run-chase in Lahore, and the Peshawar Zalmi have done it with room to spare! Length ball on the pads. Jamal gets down on one knee and razes it through square leg. Smiles, handshakes and embraces in the PZ camp. They had to mount a record run-chase, having never chased these many before in a PSL game, and they have accomplished that in some style!

Asif Afridi to bowl the final over. Just one more needed, though. Around the wicket. Almost everyone in the ring. And for what it is worth, the over-rate penalty has been imposed too.

END OF OVER:
19 | 20 Runs | PZ: 214/5 (1 run required from 6 balls, RR: 11.26, RRR: 1.00)

Naseem Shah to Aamer Jamal, 1 run, into the blockhole on middle and off. Jamal squeezes it out to backward point, and the scores are level now!

Naseem Shah to Aamer Jamal, 2 runs, dug in short on middle and leg. Jamal swings at it without a care in the world and top-edges it over the keeper. Back for a brace. A check to see if this short ball was above the shoulder. Seems like Naseem might be fine on this count

Naseem Shah to Aamer Jamal, FOUR, pummeled down the ground, and Zalmi are within touching distance now! Another juicy full toss outside off. Jamal winds up and thunders it over the bowler's head!

Wheels coming off for Naseem and the Pindiz here

Naseem Shah to Aamer Jamal, 1 wide, short and sneaking down leg. Jamal swings and misses, and that is the umpire's cue to call it a wide

9 off 9. Free hit to tuck into too

Naseem Shah to Aamer Jamal, (no ball) SIX, oh, hello! Oh, hello! Slot ball outside off and Jamal cannot believe his luck. He gets his front foot out of the way and smokes it over wide long on. And to make matters worse for Naseem, he has overstepped. Oh dear...

Jamal on strike. 16 off 9
