That's it from ESPNcricinfo's live coverage of Match 11 of PSL 2026. We hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we did bringing it to you. Till next time, it's goodbye and goodnight from all of us
Muhammad Naeem, Player of the Match: We had a simple plan to stick to our brand of cricket which has got us here and gave us success. It's easy to get support from a batting partner but I focus on my game and don't really get affected by how my partner is batting. Obviously, there is a lot of hard work behind that and my aim is always to play a winning contribution for my team
We've had a run-fest on a rain-marred day and a curtailed contest, with Lahore invited to bat, and they ended up putting up a huge total of 185-5. Mohammad Naeem scored a quickfire fifty and Parvez Hossain Emon waltzed his way to a rapid 45. Then Abdullah Shafique took the mantle and made sure he didn't slow down the scoring rate, sprinting his way to 33. The imposing total meant Multan Sultans didn't have much time to settle. Sultans stuttered a little and had a slow start, with Steven Smith struggling to get going and Sahibzada Farhan also lacking fluency. Shan Masood was the bright spot today and played a refreshing innings, laced with seven fours and one six while Ashton Turner was on top of his game, striking at 236.36 and getting to his fifty on the last ball. Shaheen bowled well upfront and Mustafizur took two wickets but the bowlers on both sides had a tough day at the office.
Majid : "Thats what extras can do to you"
usman: "selector definitely need to keep eye on Arafat ... he is playing cameos every inngs "
Haris Ahmad: "I love the approach by MS. Having already known that they have lost the game, they are still trying to score as much as they can hence making sure that their NRR remains better regardless of defeat."
Odinlass: "Wow. Conceding 185 in 13 overs certainly requires some sort of bowling."
Abdul Ghafoor: "Those extras will be difference. Both teams fought well in the middle."
Faraz: "Afridi has passed his peak at 25? Which Afridi are you talking about?I agree with the comment in general that they can cost matches for LQ as they are not in their best forms."
