3.5 Reeza Hendricks takes a gem at deep backward square swooping to his left! Bangs it on a shorter length at middle, he lifts his front leg and tugs it away but hasn't got the elevation and nor the distance. Dahani strikes in his first over, it was a good pick-up shot and he nearly earned a boundary but just not enough oomph and timing behind it. Vital breakthrough 26/1
8.3 Usama gets the big fish! Fired it straight on middle, Babar tried to play a full-blooded slog sweep and missed the full-length ball right at the stumps, couldn't connect and the ball hits the middle stump. Multan will be mighty pleased with this massive breakthrough! 72/2
10.1 Attacks the stumps and hits the timber again! Gets another set man out of the crease, absolutely bamboozles him with a searing legbreak that grip and spun a little, bounced a lot too, he was out of his crease, loading up for a big shot over midwicket and got flummoxed by the bounce and probing length. Arms aloft, Usama making a big impact with his clever spinning methods 85/3
14.3 Pace off devilish shortish ball hammered into the deck and veering at middle, half-hearted pull goes straight to Usama Mir at square leg and Mohammad Haris looks very disconsolate after perishing on 19. Once again, failed to capitalize on a good start. Brilliant celebration from Ali, absolutely fired up! 128/5
12.5 Gone! Walter loses the plot, he was looking dangerous but tries to seize on the shortish ball at middle, finds deep midwicket! Yasir takes a comfortable catch moving to his left. He was timing the ball sweetly but Multan have got a timely breakthrough, still some firepower left in the batting line-up 114/4
16.4 Perishes straightaway after clubbing a six, pitched up outside off, couldn't get underneath it, got the toe-end part of the bat and Iftikhar settles under the skier, pouches it comfortably at long-on and the entire Multan camp erupts in joy 150/6
18.2 Snuffs out the yorker from over the wicket, he has got a very potent yorker in his armoury, was dipping in and he gets late in an attempt to flick, he appealed and the umpire didn't hesitate in raising the finger. Plumbest of the lbws, three reds and off he goes 159/7

19.2 three fielders converging but Abbas says it's mine and takes it superbly, that went miles into the air and he called it early, adjusted well in the last moment and has taken a blinder, ball got big on him and he couldn't get middle it 166/8

8.2 Good length, snaked it in at a teasing off stump line, tries to whack it across the line and gets beaten by the pace, shot wasn't on, Yasir knows he has nicked it and has started his long walk back to the pavilion, not waiting for the third umpire's decision, Haris took a sharp low catch, he has been excellent with the glovework. Yasir admonishes himself for the poor selection of shot 52/2
2.3 Crucial breakthrough for Peshawar! Fraction short and hung away outside off, throws his bat at it and gets a bottom edge and Mohammad Haris does the rest, pockets the catch low while diving to his right, Mohammad Rizwan gone for naught! 7/1
15.5 Demolishes him with a perfect yorker! Gets it right in the blockhole and under the bat, smashes middle, reminds me of Yorker king Waqar Younis. 129/4
14.3 Short of a length at off, tries to bludgeon it downtown and mistimes it to Mousley (sub) at long-on who took a sharp catch while charging in from the deep. Just got carried away and loses his wicket at a crucial juncture, job not done and he will be gutted with himself but made a vital contribution nevertheless 122/3
16.2 gets down low and takes the aerial route, Yaqoob gets his first wicket on debut, bowled superbly tonight. Khushdil goes for slog sweep and didn't get the requisite power, timing and distance. Peshawar cluster together in joy! 132/5
19.5 Edged and taken! Short of a length, angled in and straightening down the line outside off, tries to club him over midwicket and gets a faint tickle to Mohammad Haris who pressed the case forward for a review and he was spot-on, clear deflection on the ultra-edge but once again a terrific cameo from Iftikhar Ahmed 174/9
16.5 Goes again but could't clear the man at deep midwicket, oh, Usama, what have you done? Gave hope to Multan and then threw it away. Once again goes big using brute force in his wrists but didn't get enough distance, Walter perched close to the boundary rope pouches it comfortably. 144/6
16.6 Bowls a full-toss outside off, Willey won't die wondering, smears him for a might-long hit and it soared high into the air, up and up, but then gravity pulls it down and fielder (Mousley) in the deep makes a brilliant attempt for a catch, leapt in the air to catch the ball and then threw it in the air, came back inside the rope to complete the catch. It's a tough one for the third umpire who asked for the zoom-in angle. The confusion is whether the foot is in the air when he pouches it, looks like his toe touched the ground when he caught the ball. Not sure why umpire is giving the benefit of the doubt to fielding side? That is not a good enough reason. 144/7
18.1 Shuffles across off and he follows him with a low full-toss and chips it straight to Saim Ayub at short fine. Iftikhar still fuming at Abbas which is rather uncalled for, he has a tendency for these outbursts, happened in the Sindh Premier League recently as well. 156/8

19.6 Pinged the top of leg and Peshawar win by 5 runs! Phew, that was a heart-in-mouth affair but Peshawar held their nerve in the end and edge out Multan in their fortress. It also breaks their three-match winning streak and Peshawar register their first win of the season 174/10
