Match Notes

  • Glamorgan signal promotion potential with emphatic win

After three days that had confounded and enthralled spectators, the final day was comparatively flat. Just not for Glamorgan who wrapped up an emphatic seven-wicket victory before tea.

  • Wagg's great day upstaged by Surrey emotion

Graham Wagg's double century at No 8 was a fine moment in Glamorgan history but even that was upstaged by Arun Harinath's second hundred in front of the convalescing Rory Burns

  • Wagg battles back with ton on harum-scarum day

It was a harum-scarum day: cricket straight from the Brendon McCullum school, as the cliché du jour would have it. After 439 runs and 12 wickets it was a little hard what to make of it all.

  • Harinath hundred rouses Surrey spirits

Arun Harinath only played for Surrey because of the horrific collision between Rory Burns and Moises Henriques and responded with the most stalwart of centuries to get the county back on track
