South Africa A 215 (Ingram 51, S Masakadza 3-43) beat Zimbabwe A 174 (Morris 4-33, Phangiso 3-42) by 41 runs
Scorecard
South Africa A continued their winning run in the tri-series with their fourth consecutive victory, beating Zimbabwe A by 41 runs in their final league match at Harare Sports Club.
Colin Ingram made his second half-century in three matches on his way to becoming the tournament's leading run-getter. His 83-run stand for the third wicket with the captain, Faf du Plessis, was the largest in the match and set South Africa up for a competitive score. A lower-order collapse - their final six wickets went down for 31 runs - meant that despite the platform provided, South Africa ended on a middling 215.
That proved enough, though, as Zimbabwe lost their way after a solid start. Left-arm spinner Aaron Phangiso took two wickets in the 19th over to sparking a Zimbabwean slide from 74 for 1` to 98 for 6, effectively ending the contest. Tinotenda Mutombodzi, coming in at No. 8, made a battling 34 but had little support from the rest of the lower order.
The last league match of the tournament is on Thursday, and Sri Lanka A need to win to have a chance of making the final.
