          Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan had tasted success in the IPL twice with Kolkata Knight Riders, a team he co-owns. This year, the owners of KKR bought a stake in Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel, and he was delighted with the fact that he had a trophy for each of his kids.

          Khan was surely present in spirit.

          For those who find Trinidad & Tobago too long and T&T too short, Jacques Kallis had the perfect solution.

          Kamran Akmal was the Man of the Match in the final, and thanked one and all for their support.

          Kamran may be out of the Pakistan team, but he found support from some of his old team-mates. Shoaib Malik, who played for Barbados Tridents before being called up for national duty, was one of them.

          Red Steel came in for praise from T&T Prime Minister Kamla P. Bissessar, who joined in the celebrations at the post-match presentation.

          Daren Ganga, a T&T veteran, was happy to see the home team win.

          The New Zealand participants in CPL also sent in their well-wishes.
