Rangers shock SL Tel Aviv; SL Jerusalem crush Young Ashdod

Two division 1 matches played over the weekend provided surprise results. In Lod on Saturday, Lod Rangers continued their good form with an exciting 15-run win over Sri Lanka Tel Aviv, who were all out for 174 chasing 189. Naveen Chetty (six for 50) ripped through the Tel Aviv middle order, after they had been well set for victory at 130 for two. In Ashdod on Saturday, defending champions Young Ashdod were skittled for just 67 against Sri Lanka Jerusalem, who then added insult to injury by knocking off their target in just 10 overs without the loss of a wicket.

The results leave the table wide open, with four teams level on 12 points and three teams one-win further back on eight.
