Sri Lanka fined for slow over-rate

Sri Lanka have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during the third Test against England, at the Rose Bowl. There had been significant rain delays during the game but even after allowances for interruptions were taken into consideration, Sri Lanka were found to be two overs short of the number they should have bowled. They bowled 92.4 overs in 435 minutes of game time.

Under ICC regulations, Kumar Sangakkara, who was stand-in captain for the Test in Tillakaratne Dilshan's absence, will be docked 40% of his match-fees while the rest of the players will be fined 20%.
