Sri Lanka fined for over-rate

Sri Lanka have been fined for a slow over-rate in the one-off Twenty20 international against India in Colombo.

Chris Broad, the match referee, ruled they were two overs short of their target when time allowances were taken into account. Each player has been fined ten per cent of his match fee with the captain, Tillakaratne Dilshan, being hit with double that amount.

Sri Lanka lost the match by three wickets as brothers Irfan and Yusuf Pathan plundered 59 runs off 25 balls after India looked down for the count.
