It has been brought to the notice of Sri Lanka Cricket, that a spurious and scurrilous set of concocted Minutes, purporting to be Minutes of the ICC Board Meetings held on 17th and 18th March 2005 in New Delhi are maliciously being circulated. This clearly is to bring disrepute to Sri Lanka Cricket, and its Representative and ICC/IDI Board Director, Mr. Thilanga Sumathipala.
The ICC President, Mr. Ehsan Mani has confirmed to Mr. Thilanga Sumathipala today, that the ICC has still not finalized the Draft Minutes of the aforesaid ICC Board Meetings, which when ready will be circulated exclusively, only to the ICC Board Members for their confirmation, before being finalized.
Hence, this fact alone proves that the aforesaid document being circulated is a fabricated and false document, which is being circulated by interested parties for extraneous reasons and for collateral purposes.
If the aforesaid spurious and scurrilous document is published, in any manner howsoever, and/or found to be circulated by anyone, whomsoever, and/or discussed in any public fora wheresoever Sri Lanka Cricket hereby notifies that it will take all legal remedies in such regard against any such persons.
