  • Guy Whittall also became only the second fielder in ODIs to held four catches in a match against England after West Indian Richie Richardson who did so at Birmingham on 23-05-1991.

  • Grant Flower's figures (3 for 9) are the most economical by a Zimbabwean bowler capturing 3 wickets in a match. The previous record was on the name of Craig Wishart who conceded 11 runs while taking his three wickets against Sri Lanka at Sharjah on 07-11-1998.
