Captain: Sunil Narine/Rashid Khan
Narine has not played the last couple of game for Knight Riders, so his inclusion in the team is contingent upon his being selected. If he plays, he's the automatic choice to be captain - he has hit two fifties in three innings and been excellent with the ball. If there is no Narine, then Rashid is an equally capable choice as captain. He's been among the wickets - as he always is - and got a decent hit with the bat too in one innings.

Vice-captain: Rashid Khan/Mitchell Santner
If Narine plays, then Rashid become vice-captain. If there is no Narine, then Mitchell Santner could make a very decent vice-captain. Without being too flashy, he has been quietly effective with the bat, and with the ball, his main suit, he has been consistently good. What's more, Santner is not the flash-when-he-comes-off player, but more the take-it-to-the-bank player who you can rely on to give you good results.

Dwayne Bravo
He generally bowls his full quota of overs, and bowling at the death means he's more likely than not to take wickets. Don't take our word for it, look at his wickets column ticking over 500 - the most in the world.

Colin Munro
He may have got a duck in the last game, but that will only make him hungrier this time. He's scored consistently before that, and at a quick pace too. Batting in the top order also gives him a greater chance to score big runs.

Value picks

Kyle Mayers
He smashed 85 in his last outing, against Jamaica Tallawahs, and has been handy with the ball too, in the opportunities he's got to turn his arm over. A left-hand batsman who can blast off in the middle overs and a right-arm seam bowler generally add up to a good package in T20 cricket, and Mayers has shown signs he's in that mould.

Ali Khan
He's been incisive in his opening bursts, and always looked like he could take a wicket or two more than he's got. This could be the game in which Ali Khan gets those rewards too.

Point to note

If Narine is not playing, you can consider adding Kieron Pollard in the XI. If he plays, then Pollard will bat further down the order and is likely not to bowl, but if there is no Narine, Pollard is more likely to bat higher as well as bowl a bit.
