Captain:Callum Ferguson
Ferguson, the Thunder skipper, has led from the front this season, scoring 244 runs in nine games, with three 50-plus scores so far. His last three scores at Canberra are 51, 31 and 61*. Ferguson is also the highest BBL run-scorer at this venue with 293 in nine games at an average of 41.85.
Vice-captain: Tanveer Sangha
Sangha has been this season's most prolific spinner with 15 wickets in nine games. Like Callum Ferguson, he has also done extremely well at this venue, picking up seven wickets in his last three outings.
Hot Picks
Alex Hales: Since last season, Hales is the second-highest run-scorer with 845 runs in 26 games at a phenomenal strike rate of 151.16, behind only Marcus Stoinis. He has been an aggressor in the first six overs, scoring 207 runs at a strike rate of 168.29, the most in the tournament.
Josh Philippe: Philippe is one of the ongoing season's top scorers with 273 runs in nine innings at a strike rate of 140. He is yet to play a game at this venue and his record in this Sydney derby has not been particularly good, which is why he isn't one of our captaincy options for this game.
Daniel Christian: The 37-year-old allrounder has been a revelation for Sixers this season. Christian is the only player to pick up ten or more wickets as well as score 150-plus runs in this edition of BBL. In the only game he played at this venue, he scored a 12-ball 21* and picked up three wickets in two overs.
Differential Picks
Steve O'Keefe: After a brilliant start to the season, O'Keefe's wicket-taking form has taken a slight dip, and he's picked up only a couple of wickets in the last four games. Nevertheless, on a pitch that assists spinners, O'Keefe is a valuable pick. He has taken ten wickets in eight games so far in BBL10.
Chris Green: Green, who is playing his seventh BBL, is enjoying a good season with 12 wickets in nine games at an average of 20.16. In the Sydney derby, he has picked up seven wickets at an incredible economy of 6.35.
Alternate Scenarios
Lloyd Pope and Steve O'Keefe can be swapped depending on the playing XI.
Jordan Silk can replace Daniel Hughes.
