Captain: Josh Philippe

His middle-overs strike rate of 158.71 is higher than his powerplay strike rate, indicating that once he settles in, he can hard to stop. He has performed better in the latter half of the tournament but he has been a rock in the middle overs for the Scorchers, scoring 259 runs at an average of 51.80 and a strike rate of 136.31.

Hot Picks
Jhye Richardson
He is the leading wicket-taker in this edition, with 27 strikes in 14 games at an average of 13.25. He has picked up 11 wickets in nine games against the Sixers, with two three-fors.

Moises Henriques
Henriques, who recently had a good limited-overs series against India, has carried on that form into the BBL, too, scoring 56 (35), 43 (25) and 38 (29) in his last three games. He is one of the top ten run-scorers in BBL history with 1882 runs in 85 games. If he is fit enough to bowl, he can get you additional points in that department, too.

Mitchell Marsh
He has been plagued by a spate of injuries lately but is now fit enough only to bat. He is a key player for the Scorchers, having been on the money in the death overs, scoring 97 runs in just 48 balls and getting dismissed only once this season. Overall, he has scored 253 runs at an average of 42.16.

Differential Picks
Daniel Christian
The 37-year-old allrounder has been a top performer for the Sixers this season, winning them a a few games on his own. Christian is the only player to pick more than ten wickets as well as score 150-plus runs in this edition of the BBL. He has also taken a 12 catches in 14 games, so having him in your line-up can fetch you additional points.

Ben Dwarshuis
Although he has missed a number of games for the Sixers this season, he is the leading wicket-taker for them with 19 strikes in 11 games and these are his best returns from a single edition of the tournament. He is also the only left-arm bowler in the top 10 leading wicket-takers list.
