Mujeeb magic and Scotland's record sequence of ducks

130 - Afghanistan's win margin over Scotland is their biggest in T20Is, surpassing their 102-run win over Kenya in 2013. It is also the joint-second biggest win for any team by runs in the men's T20 World Cup. Sri Lanka defeated Kenya by a record 172-run margin in 2007 while South Africa also beat Scotland by 130 runs in 2009.

60 - Scotland's total against Afghanistan, the joint-fourth lowest by a team in the men's T20 World Cup. Three of the top five lowest totals in the men's T20 World Cup have come in the 2021 edition. It is also their lowest T20I total . Their previous lowest was the 81 all out against South Africa in 2009.

5 for 20 - Mujeeb Ur Rahman is the first Afghanistan player to take a five-wicket haul at the men's T20 World Cup. Mohammad Nabi's 4 for 20 against Hong Kong in 2016 was the previous best figures for Afghanistan at this event.

1 - Mujeeb also became the first player to claim a five-wicket haul on debut at the men's T20 World Cup. Mark Gillespie's 4 for seven against Kenya in 2007 was the previous best for a debutant at the tournament.

20 years and 211 days - Mujeeb's age on Monday. It makes him the second-youngest to take a five-for at the men's T20 World Cup. Mustafizur Rahman was only 20 years and 202 days old when he took a five-for against New Zealand in 2016.

4 - Wickets for Mujeeb during the powerplay, making it the second instance of a bowler picking up four or more wickets inside a powerplay at the tournament. Morne Morkel is the only other bowler to have achieved this feat against Afghanistan in 2010.

4 - Ducks by the Scotland batters at Nos. 3, 4 5 and 6. It is the first instance of a team's No. 3 to No. 6 batters getting out for a duck in a men's T20I innings. Five Scotland batters bagged a duck, the joint-second most in a men's T20 World Cup innings.

5 - The number of Scotland batters to be out lbw, the joint-first in a men's T20I innings. The Netherlands also had five lbw dismissals when they faced Sri Lanka last week at this venue. No T20 innings had recorded more than five lbw dismissals.

Four more batters in the Scotland innings were bowled, taking the innings count of players to be dismissed lbw or bowled, the most in a men's T20I innings. Only once in all T20s more than nine batters have been dismissed lbw or bowled in an innings: 10 Gloucestershire batters (8 bowled and two lbw) against Northamptonshire in 2008.

6 - The number of times Rashid Khan has picked four or more wickets in a T20I innings, the joint-most by a bowler in this format. Umar Gul and Shakib Al Hasan also have six four-plus wicket hauls apiece in T20Is.
